Very sturdy, easy to use, and lots of application.

Had high hopes for this item but it broke within two weeks of having it. The reviews mention one of the legs being faulty and I thought it was just a one off thing but mine also came with a faulty leg that doesn’t allow it to reach it’s full height. Major bummer.
Karoline –
Excellent tripod. Durable yet lightweight.

This trips is nice, it has a lot of potential. The one MAJOR design problem is the locking/unlocking mechanism for the legs. They used some sort of white glue for the outer rubbery grips, which of course slides off with the first use because the actions are reversed. So for example, if youโre used to going counter clockwise loosen the grips, this particular tripod that action is reversed.

Overall, the tripod is good, but with one major design flaw.
The legs, when trying to set them to lock work on two of the legs just fine, but the leg with the rubberized grip isn’t functioning properly.
The idea is, you twist the knob towards the inside, then slide the leg out, until it locks in the standard position. It’s a good idea, but in real-world, the leg with the rubber doesn’t function properly. I have tried on two separate units, and the both have the flaw.
When trying to extend, that leg keeps going past the first catch point. To get it to work (as intended), you have to hold the dial close to the middle pole to have the lock engage.
My guess is that it has something to do with the lock screw that adjusts for the center pole. I think it is gliding past that point, and doesn’t lock properly.
Again, I have had two units to try this on, and it is the same on both.
If I’m missing something, the manufacturer can explain it to me. Customer support was great (with getting a replacement), but this still is an issue.
Otherwise, the tripod works fine, and is quite sturdy with a full frame DSLR, plus heavy lens.
