I bought one of these before we went to the beach and OMG it was a hit everyone wanted to know where I got it it works perfectly. I had no water coming in my mask and the valves work perfectly as well. My husband loved it so much that now I have to get him one too. You can breathe in and out with ease and your breaths stay separated.. so you are not inhaling any of your breath you exhaled and if you go underwater, it stops up the valves so you don’t accidentally inhale water and only opens up again when you come out of water! It’s perfect for kids and adults alike!. The strap is very comfortable against the head too this was so perfect for snorkeling on the island and shell searching! I purchased this mask few days before trip to Dominican Republic and I’m very happy I did. I never had a mask like this on my head before but it was pretty simple to use it and felt pretty comfortable, even though I mistakenly was wearing the smaller mask, instead of for adults. Either way, the seal around the face was good, without any leaks. I did experience very small leak due to me wearing the mask over my hat but after adjusting the hat the leak stopped. Also, the mechanism stopping the water entering the air pipe while submerged under the water worked great. The ball stops air flow instantly without letting even one drop of the water in. However it is important to notice that while that happens, while you inhale, the air stops immediately and even when you resurface the ball blocking the air intake will not release while you still trying to inhale. You will need to briefly exhale to release the ball (1s) and you can start breathing again. I think it works exactly as intended and designed, but its something to keep in mind while you enjoying your snorkeling. Also, as strangely as this may sound, but it felt a little bit addicting. I felt like I wanted to keep swimming in that mask. But maybe its just me or because it was my first time.
