I have a picky eater, blue and gold macaw that was raised solely on seed based food for the majority of her life. (Kaytee parrot food is TRASH don’t buy it!) I’ve had her for 2 years now, weaning her off the seed-fueled kaytee, and the variety of this in addition to the zupreem fruit blend pellets has done the trick. She had to be weaned off slowly so the kaytee with the zupreem, but I’ve gotten rid of the kaytee and replaced it with this…. she is like “seeds who?!” Loves the fruit in here, and it’s loaded with pistachios which are her FAVORITE. Good stuff here guys, just wish it was cheaper. Don’t buy kaytee!!!!

This is a good mix. Both of my birds will only eat mixes with in-shell nuts. It smells fresh and looks clean. My only issue is that the bag is only filled half way. I’ve never experienced this with other brands. So for $22 it should at least be filled 3/4 full IMO. Still, my birds like it. I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase based on the amount received vs price.

Good nutritional source for a blue-fronted Amazon parrot or any parent for that matter she really likes everything with the little bit she’s picky on that aspect good price I didn’t taste it but she says it’s good has a good shelf life also

We bought this for our macaw and he absolutely refused to eat it!! So we tried to feed it to our Amazon Parrot and she wouldn’t touch it either. We finally poured it on the ground outside and fed the squirrels!!! Not good for any of our birds but if you want expensive squirrel food, this is for you!
