Hard to say how great a purchase this will turn out to be. It looks great installed on our grill, and the black color will hide any dirt and grease stains expected to accumulate over years of usage. That “years of usage” is the tough thing to evaluate. The fabric repels water well and is thicker than average, so it may very well last longer than past grill covers I’ve used. The sun’s radiation eventually rots the fabric and makes it about as sturdy as a piece of single-ply toilet paper, which is why I had to buy this replacement cover. I tell my guests it’s an outdoor washing machine
