This texturizing taffy is super soft and smells wonderful; like candy! I love the way it smells and the purple color. The color doesn’t show in your hair either, it’s just lavender purple in the jar. The jar is silver and very sleek. However, the smell and packaging are not my reasons for purchasing this item. I wanted a hair product that would help shape my edgy haircut and finish off the look of my pixie/bob. I’m just not liking it. I’ve used this by putting a small amount on my fingers and rubbing it into my hand a little and then pulling it through the pieces of hair to make it shape and separate in certain areas. This just leaves my hair looking a little greasy and it doesn’t really hold it in place. I don’t know why it has so many good reviews. I’m not a fan of it. I’ve been going back to it and trying to use less. Then more. Then on my roots. None of my attempts make me like this product and I wish I did like it because it smells so good. Alas, I’ve finally given up and decided I’m going to return it.

This is a product I’ve used in the past, but now with a new name. So glad I found it and made the purchase to try it. I have medium length fine hair, not as full a head of hair as when I was younger. If cut right and help with the right styling product, my hair will dry with my natural curl. No other styling product works this well, no foams, liquid gel, hair spray, balms. It’s a loose curl, mixed with some frizziness. It also added volume. It’s a nice change from blow drying my hair straight. Tried it on my hair dry, for my curls, it didn’t work. Next time I blow dry my hair I am going to add the product to help control the frizz. Humid weather is not a friend to my hair.

This is indeed like taffy. Very sticky initially. However hair isn’t sticky once applied as instructed. Works nicely and has a lovely scent.

Yes! You need this. I love this!! It works and holds everything perfectly. It doesn’t make my hair stiff or sticky. And it smells amazing.

I use this product to tame the frizz. It smell really good and isn’t greasy. Use just a little rub it on your palms and smooth it on your hair. That’s it. Last a long time.

It certainly feels like taffy. It is easy to work through hair but only a small amount is needed or it makes your hair heavy and greasy feeling. It smells great, beautiful packaging & it holds all day.

I bought this product for several reasons; I’ve used KENRA products for decades and have tried other brands, but nothing matches up to its quality. I recently went from shoulder length hair to an almost pixie, and love the short hair. I’ve been using a hair “balm” for several months, and my hair just doesn’t stay in place. This “taffy”, by KENRA is by far the best thing to tame my hair. Once I put it on, my hair stays in place. The smell is wonderful too. The product is gooey enough to keep your hair in place and is water soluble at the same time. Very pleased with the results after use and the packaging and container are of excellent quality. Great value for the price! Will buy again.

I use this to texturize my short hair. I use it with damp hair or dry hair. It smells amazing, goes on smoothly, and doesn’t clump or make my hair sticky or stiff. It makes my hair more smooth. Great product!

It’s not sticky! It’s sticky on the hands but it helps to texturize your hair and give it lift and volume ! Been using this for a few years now and a little bit goes a long way.
