I’ve had this stereo for over a year, since I’ve had it sometimes when I start my car the radio won’t make a sound. I have to either restart the car or shut off the radio and turn it on to work. I returned it to Best Buy the installer said it was a wire. He said he fixed it but the radio still did it. I just live with it.

Nice unit, but the display is washed out during the daytime. Night viewing is fine. Contacted Kenwood support about the display but they were unable to help. There is an adjustment for the display, but even at the highest contrast setting (the default) there is no improvement to viewing in daylight.

Ordered this for my RV and loving it. Super impressed with the quality. Great value for the money spent. It was a much needed upgrade.

This unit has to be the worst car entertainment system on the market. I purchased this unit primarily for its navigation features, Garmin and live traffic information. Although the unit displays numerus erroneous pop ups for USB and Bluetooth connections problems, which I could live with. But the big problem is the Kenwood app for traffic information. This app generates a constant string of messages on your phone requesting to connect to the head unit, whether it’s connected or not. These messages occur one to two per minute, requiring you to acknowledge the message to make your phone functional again. A dangerous distraction, especially on a motorcycle. I find it bizarre that Kenwood does not fix this long standing issue that makes this unit and your phone virtually unusable.
