Bought for my 3 yr old grandson for Xmas. It’s very good quality. Comes in lots and lots of pieces and took some time to screw it all together. I didn’t enjoy that, but I did love it once it was all together. And so did my grandson. It’s great for all types of play. Not just police and fire. But has movable furniture etc just like a doll house but it’s very boy. Folds up so it doesn’t require a ton of space. Love it!!!

This will be a Christmas present for my three year old. He has been obsessed with Fireman Sam and all that entails, so I was hoping for a play set that would work with his existing fireman toys from various brands. This arrived on time in packaging that would rival NASA engineering. My goal was to assemble it and hide it before Christmas so my Christmas eve does not involve hours of assembling. If I hadn’t been watching TV, I probably could have actually assembled this in under 2 hours, and if there were other helpful hands, I’m sure we could have knocked it out in even less time. I agree with others, find a large space to spread out the massive quantities of boards for easy viewing and getting the pieces. Once you find the pieces they were super simple to assemble. The only thing I did not notice or pay attention to until I assembled one of the towers was that the screws labelled “A” were separated and color coded for the entire project, once I actually noticed it, It was an easy fix and I matched up the color to the exterior picture. I could have left it if I wanted and it would not have taken away from the finished product. The diagram steps were simple and the only time I felt I needed more strength was the tiny little door knobs. Pliers and the screw driver did the trick. The quality is fine for the size and price point of this thing. I scratched a few doors before I got the pliers out for the door knob but even so, I nor my 3 year old are particularly fussy about perfection so I’m not concerned and I think I want something he can play with to his hearts content versus a gift that he can only look at from a far. The accessories are a mix of wood and plastic, and the construction seems to be a mix of wood, prefab boards etc. If you’re looking for generations out of it, I doubt it, but I think this will be just fine until his Fireman obsessions changes to dinosaurs or college, whichever comes first. Once it was all assembled, it was adorable and I wanted to mess with all the accessories rather than tuck it away for Christmas. I resisted, but I did check out that his “Fireman Sam’ truck could fit through the doors. I think even his F. P. Little people truck will go as well. Overall, I am extremely excited to see his face Christmas morning, and see him play with the new and his old toys all together which was my goal.

We purchased this for our 3 year old Grandson for Christmas, we got a Black Friday deal, but even without that discount this is amazing. I absolutely love it and I know he will too. I have ordered some extra figures (people) because I know he will want more. There are so many rooms and pieces of furniture he will want them filled. It is very study and strong, my husband built it easily in about 90 minutes (with a coffee break) It came very well packaged and we are really looking forward to seeing him open it on Christmas Day.

Me gustó mucho es muy bonito, está hecho con mucha calidad, solo no recomiendo a niños que golpean sus juguetes, mi hijo de dos años ya quebró la moto y el carrito de bomberos afortunadamente solo un apequeña pieza y no afecta. Pero en general es muy buena opción, sugiero que para armarlo tengan a la mano un rotomartillo porque al ser de madera los tornillos quedan mejor. Y paciencia para armarlo. Pero vale la pena.

The best gift I’ve ever given my grandson! At 5 yrs of age he has lots of figures and characters but seemed a little sad that he didn’t have a house for them like his sister’s princess castles and Barbie houses. The wooden material is so much sturdier than plastjc would be and is very well painted with stationary decorations (much better than peel off stickers like you’d get on most models)! It can be adapted to any kind of police/emergency, super heroes and villains , animal figures and other collectible characters. It is spacious, the furnishings are adorable, and the best part is that it folds up to keep all the small pieces stored, taking up much less space than when it’s opened up. The only negative about this is the difficulty of assembly. Come on, Kidcraft, how hard would it be to include some actual instructions?!*#?!

First off, the concept of this is wonderful. It’s very detailed and I’m sure our boys will love playing with this! It was easy enough to assemble (just be sure you match the screw colors with the piece you are attaching… I didn’t at first and had to go back and redo a bunch of screws). It took me about 2 hours to put together while watching a movie and the instructions were very detailed. The furniture is real wood and great quality!
Now onto the cons… The quality is pretty terrible. I searched and searched for something that would be made of wood and durable (we have 3 young boys so durable is a MUST). This isn’t making the cut. It’s not real wood, it’s particle board. Some pieces are very thin and flimsy. But more than that, the design appears to just be stickers on the partible board. They scratch off super easily. Many pieces came with scratches on them and throughout the assembly process aquired many more scratches just from bumping around against other pieces.
We decided to keep this because we got it on sale and I know our boys won’t see scratches, just lots of imaginary fun! And after all my searching, this was the best, most well-thought out design. 3 hero’s vehicles makes it perfect for 3 boys! But we are not at all impressed with the quality of the house itself and I don’t expect it to be something our grandchildren will play with someday. I am going to look into sealing it with some kind of apoxy or something before we gift it to our boys… Hopefully that will at least help the stickers not scratching off so easily.
