Same tools in 2 sets totaling 81 Nos. received (1 missing and not knowing which one). The product is too costly and the metal parts are too thin for regular usage. The description in the advertisement says 82 different tools but actually only 41 x 2 similar are sent.

After spending too much time attempting to remove the pins from connectors so that I could route wires through a hole? I finally just purchase this item and in a minute I had the connector apart. Make sure to mark the wire position before removing them. I use a silver sharpie to mark them. The trick is in choosing the proper key to use for a particular connector. The case is pretty nice also. Must have if you do radio installation or other electronic connections and saves you from having to splice wire together. Good value.

Function good to remove wires that needed to be removed.Their are a veriety of tools just have to pick the right one that works.And label it so you know next time that one will work on same type plug if pins need removal.

These have been awesome so far, useful on several different wiring harnesses. Not the perfect, OEM-intended depinning tools, but have worked almost as well in most cases and ALL that have broken so far (7-8 broken as of now, a year+ later, having used or lent these out to work on several dozen harnesses with varying connectors/applications) at least outlived one of the significantly more expensive connector OEM depinning tools one of my coworkers ordered for a specific harness… These have NOT replaced the OEM tool for every terminal/contact, but for what they can work with, definitely worth cheaping out on them for the number of duplicates or close to duplicate sizes/shapes and the alright durability.

I am giving this a 4 star because I know most of the tools in here will be a one time use. It’s more of a get you out of a bind instead of an everyday use kit. The case that the tools come in is the highest quality item in this kit. Overall I think it is a good value for those “maybe this will work” moments. I can assure you that if you are dealing with automotive electrical connectors it will be in this kit. Quality is lacking but is to be expected with the price point!

PROS:
Theyve worked so far.
They are cheap and you seemingly get a lot for the countless molex, jst, etc connectors that are out there.
CONS:
Stamped from very thin sheet metal. Will bend and break with too much pressure applied.
Not very well organized in the one bag they all come in, and not labeled other than matching them up by sight comparison with the vague insert included. Usual Chinese transaction.
However, I guarantee they would have the most helpful and gracious customers svc, they always have.
Buy if you want a cheap option than most.

Lots of duplicates, but that allows you to grind some for custom applications if need be, especially with how cheap they are. Specifically I needed a depin tool for Molex CMC sealed 0.635mm terminals. Molex’s tool is $150 and I couldn’t find a knock off one. The non vinyl coated keys had the right size (super small dual tines) to depin with ease.
