I have had another brand of this style of collapsible chair with out the arm rest. This is by far a sturdier construction with the all aluminum components. The arm rest are amazing, after having one without.
Cheryl Milbee –
This is hard to put together because it is so tight. Not comfortable with the head rest too far back to put your head on.
Fi Menzies –
Like a gym workout putting it together.

The chair is spectacular. it weighs practically nothing, it fits in a tiny little bag that’s easy to carry around or leave in the trunk. putting it together the first time was a bit of a challenge; I’ve had the best luck by connecting the headrest portion of the fabric to the frame first, after the arm rest of course. the arm rests, lots of light chairs don’t have arm rests, these are sturdy and helpful for getting in and out of the chair. there is a lot of high back support, you are not practically reclined in the chair as you are with many of these lightweight camp chairs. You are sitting upright. You have back and neck support, I can’t say enough good things. I feel well supported.
The cup holder is mostly not helpful, it’s not quite big enough to hold a standard phone, standard by 2022 guidelines; it’s not quite big enough to hold my 22 oz cup. still, even without a usable cup holder. I would buy this chair again. actually, I’m going to buy this chair again, I want one for the trunk of my coupe.

I was looking for a Helinox chair because our friends had one but found this listing. I was more drawn to this chair because it has arm rests, unlike the similar Helinox model.
We got our chairs and practiced setting them up as I read other reviews that it was a bit difficult. The first time, it was a tad bit tough. Getting the rod pocket of the seat and arm rests over the ends of the poles was tough. However, on our second time setting them up it was a LOT easier!
We took the new chairs for a test run on the beach and they did NOT disappoint! They were very comfortable. I liked that my head could rest against the back and I had an excellent and comfortable nap. From the pictures, I thought the seats would be a lot lower to the ground like some of the other beach chairs but it was a comfortable height above the sand.
The chairs fold up easily. It’s not a crazy struggle to fit them back into their storage bags. They are lightweight and compact so carrying them to and from the beach was easy.
We bought these for our sailboat and frequent trips to the beach. We’ve only had them for a short time but hopefully the aluminum will hold up against the salt water. I’ll update my review if something changes, but so far, I have zero complaints and REALLY like these chairs!

Overall I like the chair and I’m keeping it I wanted a small packing chair with armrests and this serves me perfectly. BUT. I agree with the other reviews that this chair is finicky to put together but I think most camping chairs of the style are difficult to put together this one is slightly more so because of the arms and the high back. You need to rotate the poles a little bit so that they’re facing the right direction when you stretch the chair onto it. I put my foot on the main bar to the ground and use that to counterbalance stretching it over if I’m having a hard time. it’s usually not that difficult as long as the pole is rotated the correct way. It’s definitely a two-handed, one minute job. Probably more important to note is that the butt seat is quite narrow I have a petite frame and it fits me just fine but the other people in my life who are weight rated for this chair find the butt to narrow and very uncomfortable.

The 2 chairs we ordered were delivered in a timely fashion. We took these to the beach and were happy with the chairs UNTIL one of the little round foot plates on the front leg of one of the chairs was just gone (likely lost in sand) . We had liked the light weight easy to carry features and that it sat a bit taller than most sand chairs. However once the foot disc was gone it became unstable. I contacted the supplier and after 4 emails and lots of pictures they finally said they would send us a new foot disc. The chair is not usable and we continue to wait! They said they would send the foot disc but still at 4-6 weeks later, we haven’t received it. I contacted the company again and they sent me a tracking number that does not connect to any link. All from China. I would not recommend these chairs because of the poor customer service.
Update: it took over 8 emails to resolve. The company kept coming back asking for more info like: order number, date ordered, pictures of the defective part and pictures of the packaging labels and about 5 weeks to FINALLY receive the replacement part. Vacation is over and the chair repair part did not arrive – we had one chair for 2 of us due to the very slow customer service. It was frustrating and very inconvenient. They did send the replacement part but it was a tediously slow response that required lots of effort and patience.

I’m an ultralight backpacker, and an ultralight chair is the Heliox Chair Zero coming in at a pound. These are several pounds and I probably wouldn’t backpack with them. Instead, I got them for car camping, and I very much like them. I could get the cheap folding chairs, but I wanted something that wasn’t bulky when packed up. These are pretty comfy.
They are a little bit of a challenge to set up, but I think that’s typical for this style of chair. Once you figure out how to do it, it’s not that bad. It’s nice that it has additional pocket storage for things like a phone. You can also, albeit tightly, attach the bag to the bottom cross support if you want it not to disappear while the chair is set up or want additional storage.
These are a nice and reasonable alternative more expensive options. I like the high back that allows me to lounge. These are, all in all, great chairs.

The arm rests are good, specially for those who misses those having used camping chairs for a long time.
The front pocket is good. The high back is good.
Now the problems. Soon as you get up, the chair tends to fall on its back! So need to keep picking the chair back up! The second one is the lack of head foam. For the price you would expect it to have one. The lack of it makes sitting on the chair very uncomfortable.
Due to those to major flaws for me, I would not recommend the chair but it has enough good features to give it at least 3 stars.
