Bought it for my moms upcoming knee replacement, therefore haven’t used it however the product didn’t come with the 2 or 6 lb dynamic resistance bands as shown in video which was disappointing for me as a consumer. For that reason you didn’t get the 5 stars

Update after 3 weeks of use:
I regret wasting money on this. My foot keeps slipping out and won’t stay on the sled. I now use a strap that has holes to put your foot through. (Two straps sewn together with gaps for hand holds/ foot holds.)
I do not use this product at all.
Initial review:
This could be designed better. It’s some cord, a plastic shell and a pad – very inexpensive components for a such an expensive device.. That would be okay if it was designed well but it is not. 1. The handles go from y shape to straight due to cord slippage inside the handle tube. 2. My size 9 foot keeps slipping out. 3. The pad over the foot keeps riding up. 4. The design pulls at the heel only, not at the whole foot in 90 degree angle position so the stretch is compromised (calf and hamstring muscles shortened due to pointed foot). A strap with a loop does a much better job if you place it mid foot or on forefoot. Workaround: use a strap instead and wear a sock so that your foot can slide on a smooth surface. Cost = cost of strap.
What I did: I bought 7/16 wood dowel at home depot, cut to length of handle tube, and inserted it in the tubed with the cord adjusted to a Y. Then iIplaced two tightly cinched zip ties on ether side of the plastic piece that tethers the cord to itself below the handle. This made it much easier to maintain a Y shaped with the handles. This is better but my foot still slides out of the cup and still becomes pointed due to slippage of straps pulling on foot cup. pointed. I will work on that tomorrow – there has to be a fix.

After knee replacement in May I was having physical therapy. To get my knee to bend again they had me pulling on a strap wrapped around my foot. Wanted to do it at home but didn’t have the slick plastic they used. Three months later I saw this foot slide and it works great. Not fun and the process is painful but necessary. Have been told the other knee will need replacement so I will have this from the beginning.

This device makes it so easy to build range of motion after knee surgery, in bed maybe but especially on the floor on the carpet. You can start each session with the small tolerable range and ease fully watch it grow. The knee tightens up again but compared to manual manipulation in PT it is considerably less painful and you can do this as many times a day a as you want, even while watching sports! Great after heat (after your doctor clears you for that). Overpriced, but I don’t care. The foot grip pad the foot sits on slid and wrinkled on first use, could be so much better, but I don’t care.

Had knee replacement surgery..this is perfect for physical therapy. I can sit on my bed and my heel will slide up and down bending my knee

Knee replacement exercises were easier to complete with this item. Have lent to my friends who have undergone knee replacement surgery.

Likes: I bought this for my husband after knee surgery. It really works well to assist with restoration of range of motion. He uses it in his recliner, and it is designed to use in bed. It really works on the knee and is very similar to the way in which his physical therapists perform his routine. It assists with bending of the knee especially for sitting, maneuvering into and out of the car and to stretch and strengthen thigh and calf muscles.
Dislikes: there are no dislikes, he doesn’t want to do it because of the discomfort.

I ordered this because i had total knee replacement . Achieving greater flexion quickly is so important after this surgery. The device is plastic and rope-but you put your foot in the device and pull your foot towards you with the handles to increase the flexion of the knee. It is a very simple design. It was expensive for what it is, and you could construct something similar for less money, but i wanted something easy to use. My home health PT had never seen one-and was impressed how much more flexion I was able to get in my knee by slow gentle continuous pressure by myself. It also slides easily on any fabric- (usually doing in bed post knee replacement). I got more flexion doing the pull myself than the. PT could forcing the flexion which is obviously more painful. I gave it 4 stars because of the price, but i figured if you divide that by the number of knees my husband and I will have it’s not so bad.
