I found the pliers too small for my hands to be comfortable. I do not not have large hands either.

Great tool for the tool bag. You can strip, crimp amd cut and slim enough to get to those hard to reach areas. Works great!!!

A true waste of money if you expect to strip 12 and 14 gauge wire. I have a dozen kleins and knipex and this is a true disappointment. The stripping holes are simply the wrong size; maybe wires in Europe are metric and the version for metric was just relabeled for 12 and 14. I would recommend Kleins for a heavy duty needle nose/stripper if you like combo tools. They come in two versions; spring and crimper models. Both are good and strip easily without damaging the conductor.

very small, striping holes are big ,and the price is very high for the tool. stick with Klein.
however ,there channel locks ARE THE BEST ! I WILL RECOMMEND THE CHANNEL LOCK PLIERS , BUT NOT SO MUCH FOR THE ELECTRISHIAN PLIERS

i have been through about 3 pairs of the 7 inch knipex alligator slip joint pliers in the last 10 years. they are a daily/heavy use item and i replace them when the teeth wear down so far that i cant grab a #50 chain master link anymore. those are better than sliced bread. i thought that the quality and durability of these would follow right along those lines. i was wrong. the wire strippers on mine dont cut wire insulation, they just pull it apart. it looks nicer if i just use a knife. the jaws came slightly off, but the metal seems to be soft and now they dont come close to meeting when the pliers are closed all the way. i have been very disappointed in these and they are in that elite class of tools that i can readily loan to others without reservation. recently i purchased a set of wiha precision screwdrivers that came with a bonus set of needlenose pliers. i believe they are made in china and sadly, they have already outperformed the german knipex pliers.

These are one of my main tools. I just bought a second pair to have on hand in case something happens to my other pair.
They strip wire and crimp ferrules up to #14 (2.5mm2).
