Good quality product but one of the screws was damaged so I spent another 2hrs trying to fit the item after going to the hardware and spending additional money. Also doesn’t have a variety of bolt sizes, so had to cut and file the given ones… another hour or so.

The hardware supplied with this set is junk, it is plated steel, so it will rust pretty quickly if you use your atv much at all in the rain or snow. The heads of the bolts have phillips and slotted together, and the phillips is some weird size as none of my phillips or JIS style worked, and the slot for straight blade is too narrow for a large screwdriver and too wide for a medium size. I went out and bought some stainless screws and finally got the parts attached to the atv. The plastic parts seem like they won’t last long, the setup feels weak and the adjustable features are not going to hold up to putting things in and out of the holders. The old style Koplin gun racks were made with better quality, lots of money for cheap parts now.

got this to retrofit into my 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 Limited RAMBOX to carry firearms while going to and from the field for hunting. just took cutting a piece of plywood to fit inside the RAMBOX to mount these to for it to work. I did have an issue with one of the “pin” locks that are plastic breaking when i rotated 1 of the V cradles – a call to Kolpin and a replacement was received within 2-3 days free of charge. I painted the plywood base black to match the RAMBOX and bought longer screws to replace the 2 in the base of the RAMBOX to secure the firearm holder.

Bought two sets of the XL-Double one set for my for my 2008 can am outlander XT 500 max the other set for my hunting buddy’s can am outlander. I installed my set immediately after taking delivery and took it out on my next hunting trip the following day and it worked perfectly my rifle stayed in place the entire time even while riding through some pretty rough trails and the rifle did not budge one inch mind you, I used just one rubber strap on the barrel end for quick retrieval out the rest if needed. This rack is completely adjustable riding with one gun I was able to fold down the pair not in use with the option to remove it completely I hope they hold up and I will be doing a follow up review after next season for now it seems Kolpin hit a homerun with this gun rack it seem someone at Kolpin listened and they really got it right this time with his double rack.

I bought these amounts to turn a very dilapidated Bob revolution stroller into a functional shotgun buggy. I use this buggy for sporting clays at a local shotgun club and makes carrying 2 shotguns and ammo to the 14 stations much easier.
The shotgun mounts work great. No issue with shotgun slipping or falling out…even when not using the security strap. Easy to get shotgun in and out and makes life at the range much easier.
Unfortunately the mounting hardware is a bit dysfunctional. The description said it would come with long and short hardware. Mine only came with long 3” screws. The screwheads are soft and easily deformed. The amount of energy needed to screw on the nylon filled nut onto the screw is too much for the grooves in the screw head to handle. The result is a screw head that is borderline stripped out.
I went to the hardware store and bought my own hardware for $10. I chose to go with a nut with lock washer instead of nylon filled nut. Since I’m not putting it on an atv, this hardware is more than adequate for the 5mph we are walking from station to station.
On a side note, the bob revolution stroller works out great for a shotgun buggy. Very stable, even with 2 shotguns I one side. There are a few midifications you will need to make on the bob revolution but it is easily made by unscrewing a few screws where the nylon is attached to frame. No need for cutting or perminate alterations. These can be found on Craigslist for $70.
