We’ve been through a lot of deshedding tools. The furminator was painful for Samuel and just didn’t seem as effective for removing hair. The equigroomer is decent and does remove a lot of hair, but it is also painful at times. We tried the gloves, which work well in the bath to remove hair. I wanted something that was painless for this little guy. This is not painful at all and it works! Samuel enjoys his massage with this tool. I use it in an up and down motion and it removes so much hair. It is difficult to remove the hair from the zoom groom, but I just rinse ot off outdoors. I will use this along with the other tools we have, but I’m happy we were finally able to find something that works and isn’t painful. The brush is well made and as long as Sam doesn’t get ahold of it, it will last for a long time. That would be the only negative thing I can say about this tool. It does have the look of a toy to a dog. Otherwise, it’s a great one to have in your arsenal.

I love this brush! My dog has an incredibly thick coat- he has long hair with a super dense undercoat. I used this brush dry and couldn’t believe how much fur came off of him! I’ve also used it right before his bath and noticed he shed significantly less during bath time. My dad also uses this brush on his dog during bath time and said it’s great to help work the shampoo into the coat. I’ve only had it for a couple of months, but it seems very durable as well.

Our GSD-X has never been eager to get brushed, but he will tolerate it. This arrived today and he stood still and let us brush him, we didn’t have to hold him, he stayed in place. He is smart. A little while later, he was about 25 feet away from me, I picked up the brush, held it up and showed it to him. He came right over and let me brush him again. I could tell he enjoyed the nice massage he was getting! The brush gets much more hair off of him than the slicker brush I used to brush him with. It gets the loose hairs from both the top coat and the undercoat. We had given him a bath just a couple of days ago, yet the bristles of the new brush are discolored, it seems the brush also lifts dead cells from the skin. The brush does not hold the hair, but that’s okay, I can either vacuum that one spot where I brush him, or brush him outside. I am just happy that the brush does get the hair off of him and that he is getting a good massage. I think this brush will also be great during bath time, working the shampoo into his coat.

Brilliant brush, so soft and effective. I brush my puppy in the garden as so much hair comes off him. Definitely recommend it, it gives a massage at the same time.

When I got it my first thought was “oh I wasted money, this will never work” it doesn’t look like it would do anything. I was SO wrong!! It’s the oddest thing, it can’t possibly hurt the dog because it’s just soft with zero pointy edges. It works so well! It’s easy to hold, my dog doesn’t care about getting brushed at all. The amount of hair it gets is shocking. I didn’t even try to use it for a while because it really did just look useless. I have Saint Bernards & it’s not good on their coat because the have fluffy fur, my bulldog has hair more like a lab. Works fantastic & almost seems like a massage for the dog. He gets almost excited when he sees me coming with it!

I use this when I give my dog a bath. My dog enjoys to be scrubbed with it, and it gets off all of the undercoat. It works amazing. It can also be used in between baths as a regular brush. Great Product!! Super easy to use.

Our dog does not mind this brush. Even the cat likes it or tolerates it. It is gentle on the dog, and it pulls
the shedding hair out easy. I have tried the fulminators and just a pain. This one will get more hair out and easy to clean it. Like a rubber brush – works very well. Stroke in one direction to gentle brush out hair. Or do a vigorous back-and-forth brush to get deep clean. The dogs legs will start scratch kicking from joy of it. It fits well in your hands and is easy on the hand. Glad we got it.
