Very nice product, both in looks and in use. Was originally disappointed with the lack of default temps for the modes that did not have adjustable temps. Was supplied some by their customer support.

They stated that rice, cake and egg are automatic. Not really sure what that means, but I thought having at least these default temps might help you in making a purchase decision. I am happy with my decision to by this product over other electric Dutch ovens by price, support and features.

This is truly a heavy cast iron Dutch oven inside of an electric cooking base. I have only used it once to braise short ribs, but they turned out fabulous! I have made a roast beef and seared it on the bottom first and then added some broth and cooked on slow cook. Because it’s an enamel coated cast iron, it is a little harder to clean than a nonstick pan, but not difficult. I haven’t used all of the functions but so far I really like it!

I’ve been looking for an electric Dutch oven since I’ve heard so much good stuff about it. After browsing through lots of options online, I decided to give this brand a try. The product is packaged thoughtfully and the product looks very well made and sturdy. Every function I have used from chicken, soup and chili, the food has come out perfectly. It keeps the food warm without drying it out. I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a multi purpose electric Dutch oven.

The company reached out to me after my review and offered both a refund and a replacement with a different product. I did not have to ship the current cooker back. I appreciated this gesture and the other model I chose was just a simple ceramic slow cooker- not the same unit or functions but I appreciate the company trying to solve the issue and hear me out on the things that didn’t function well on the unit I purchased. Added a star for company communication and willingness to resolve customer problems.
Pros:
– Simple
– Feels turdy, even the plastic parts
– Worked intuitively out of the box
– East to clean (albeit the obviousness of the cast iron being really heavy to lug around)
– It looks nice! The cream color especially is just neat.
– You can take the pot out & serve from it, and it looks nice that way. Mot a thing you can easily do with other slow cooker options.
Cons:
– Uneven cooking on the bottom. I used the Sear function on some beef before swapping it to slow cook for stew, and I had to keep moving the roast around to get it to evenly sear. If I left it there, it would almost burn on one side and be just well done on the other. This defeats the whole purpose of Sear mode to me
– Rice mode doesn’t work. It under steams and burns on the bottom. Non-functional mode.
– A couple people mentioned chipping… while I haven’t used it enough to have that happen, I can tell the coating is really thin, so it would be easy to do even if you’re careful.
My personal conclusion…
I may return it and getting a more expensive option. The rice mode being junk didn’t surprise me, you really need an actual Rice Cooker for that, but the crappy sear mode is super disappointing. It looks nice though.

This slow cooker replaced an old one we had. We’ve used it once so far and it worked perfectly. The heavier ceramic insert is a substantial asset when trying to cook slowly but not decimate the food inside. The white color makes it look clean and the whole unit has a quality about it that makes our old one look shabby. We were surprised how big it was since it’s a 5 quart. There’s plenty of room inside and the oval shape is great for inserting pork chops or chicken. This one is a keeper and will be with us for a long time.

Literally used one time and drying it as directed with a soft cloth when I noticed this. Didn’t drop or bang in sink…nothing like that. This definitely makes me question the quality of the coating. Amazon said I could return even without original box, but I had already been waiting because they sent the wrong color first time. Just didn’t want to go through the hassle since this doesn’t affect the food. I will say, I’ve cooked two more meals since and it is amazing as far as that goes. Cooks perfectly and very easy to use.
Update: after one more meal cooked and again cleaned properly, the handle continues to chip. The coating is so brittle I had to take off another star. I’m afraid I’ll have to return it because if it keep up and I think it’s going eventually it will affect the rest of the pot. So sad. Nothing is made with any quality anymore.
