Directions

To keep aquariums free from toxic organic nitrogenous compounds like ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, a standard dose should be used. The standard dose is one teaspoonful (5 ml) per 10 gallons of fresh or salt water, or one liquid ounce (25 ml) per 60 gallons of water, or one cup (8 liquid ounces = 200 ml) per 480 gallons of water, or one pint (16 liquid ounces = 400 ml) per 960 gallons of water. For other measurements, estimate the amount needed, such as 10 drops per gallon using a medicine dropper, or 1/4 teaspoon for 2.5 gallons of water.

At more than 3 days in a bucket, my bait shrimp are even more lively than they were when I got them. Before, They would barely live through a night and then hardly be moving. I have to chase these down!!!!
    Excellent. Beyond expectations
UPDATE: After 6 days, half of these shrimp are alive and thriving! They race each other around the bucket! One actually managed to jump completely out of the bucket.. WOW.

Iโ€™ve tried so many water conditioners in the last two years and they all take chlorine out of tap water. Some are more complicated to measure, some want you to wait a couple hours, this one takes care of chorine and amonia and I am easy to measure – itโ€™s also inexpensive which itโ€™s important when yourโ€™re a newbie and have many overstocked aquariums- like me.. I use about 3 bottles a month for 11 aquariums. 3 gal-to 65 gallons.

Got this because Iโ€™d seen some amazing reviews. I was a bit nervous about using it after seeing a few terrible reviews too. I followed the instructions to the letter. My nitrates were sitting around the 80ppm mark. No chance of survival for any invertebrates. Even doing big water changes I had been struggling to regain control. It has taken a couple of weeks of using this and two water changes. I now have the nitrates down to 10ppm. Almost there. I have tried other products that havenโ€™t helped at all. This stuff is brilliant. My fish are all healthy. There are no signs of ill effect at all. My unwanted algae has almost gone and my goby is more active. I will continue using this and be ordering more. I strongly recommend this product if you are struggling with nitrates and literally throwing money down the drain with water changes that have little effect. Regain control with this stuff.

Update… just checked my nitrates again and they now read 0ppm. Pretty much the only time they have ever been at zero.

    Update number two.

Well, I got lazy with water changes and let everything get out of control. I lost fish and got told off by the wifey!
A bit of tlc and using this stuff and weโ€™re back to zero nitrates again. This stuff is just amazing and can help people like me that get lazy from time to time. I would say itโ€™s worth having for those just in a case moments.

I originally use Prime. However, I donโ€™t think itโ€™s very effective in removing the ammonia. My tap water contains 1ppm ammonia ( Chloramine) so I need better solution.

I use both API master kit and Monitor Ammonia Test kit to test ammonia after using Amquel Plus and Novaplus together.
You could see it becomes yellow (0 ppm) from green ( 1ppm).
I used 15 ml of 30 gallon tank.
Since I donโ€™t have livestock so I donโ€™t know any side effects to fish. But so far it meets my goal.
I like it ! Also recommend Monitor test kit as the color is more distinguishable.

I use it when I do water changes in my big freshwater tank. It will not get rid of ammonia, it helps convert toxic ammonia into safe levels while the filter catches up and does its job.

This stuff works wonders when trying to keep ammonia levels from harming your fish.
Sometimes water changes canโ€™t be done as quickly as I would like. This stuff gives me the piece of mind to stretch it a little between changes.
It doesnโ€™t get rid on ammonia but makes whatโ€™s there harmless . Fish stay happy and healthy.

Iโ€™ve been using this product for sometime now and it removes ammonia within hours. Itโ€™s a shame that it has to come all the way from the US to the Uk and there isnโ€™t a more local supplier. Recommended.

Works good for treating tap water for water changes. Those claiming it kills fish IMO are using it in place of a water changes. Its not meant to take the place of aquarium maintenance.

So I’ve been useing this product for few weeks , It has same benefits as secham prime minus the smell and last way way longer than prime , I am able to have my fish go through a cycle ie high nitrite and ammonia levels and they are happy as a camper . I didn’t get this product to do that but a tank cycle crashed , I was tired of rotten egg smell and only 2 day guarantee safety, so I bought this . Within 1 min of adding this product my fish went to acting normal , one min previously they were all sluggish and looking rough with 1 ppm nitrite spike . As you can sew this is a community 20 gallon tank . With glowfish pristilas , cory cat , betta females , mollys and ,neons ( not over crowded) just right . One fish had babies I didn’t realize until I saw 2 at the top ( black mollys ) well only 2 were seen , so I am assuming many got eaten or taken into the Hob filter and cause a ammonia then nitrite spike . This you can add and if cycle crashes its protects your fish back through a cycle . Highly recommend
