Smaller than I expected even with the measurements (~ XL is L) but I’ve had two 90-100lb House Hippos (Pit bulls) love these beds, they’ve maintained their shape and super easy to machine wash the cover. Fits in a crate just fine, my doggo loves it in her kennel, she’ll “nest” to sleep at night and it has shown no sign of wear and tear. Would 💯 buy again.

Great pet bed. The cushion is firm but has some give to it. The exterior is soft but durable and waterproof! I have two small dogs that like to “dig” at the bed and this has preformed well.

The cover is great, it’s soft and feels comfortable. It also washes up nicely, placed in dryer with low heat as well, no issues! However, the failure is the bed inside the cover… it’s understandably not waterproof and the zipper design enables ‘water’ to penetrate into the inner bedding. So now you have to wash both, one of which is really awkward in the washer. I’d recommend purchasing a waterproof pillowcase liner to put over the inner bedding. But once the whole bed is wet/soiled, it becomes awkward to remove everything. I had purchased two beds to try, this one and another one (with the zipper cover) and one without the zipper cover. Honestly, the one without the zipper cover is better. They are water resistant and can be easily thrown in the washer and dryer with low heat. Less of a hassle to remove the cover. If you’re using this for a pet that doesn’t have bladder issues, it’s probably not a big deal and wouldn’t get washed as often. But if you’re purchasing this specifically because it’s waterproof… keep what I said above in mind. It’s going to be a hassle and there are easier solutions/products out there.

The bed fit perfectly into our XXL crate, and it’s easy to pull the cover off to be washed. My dog paws at it, and even completely turns it over in his crate, but he has not damaged it. (Of course no fabric can stand up to a destructive chewer, which he is not).
Two things surprised me pleasantly: 1) the water-resistant layer worked well, keeping the inside dry, although I admit that we noticed the accidents quickly and it didn’t sit for very long, and 2) after a year of having a Great Dane sleeping on it, it’s still surprisingly fluffy. Not quite as tall as when it arrived, but still better than expected. I would recommend this product.

These dog beds are great for the crate. I love that I can take the cover off and wash them as needed because my dogs like to go outside and get dirty. They have lasted a really long time and they’re very durable. I definitely recommend.
