La Blanca Island Goddess Halter Tankini Swimsuit Top

Very flattering fit and colour. The rushing is very forgiving on the torso and it is long enough

I have had really super quality La Blanca suits in the past. This one was thin very stretchy fabric. The front had a lining of same fabric, no lining on back. The halter tie straps were made of the same fabric and were super stretchy as well. Basically I had to cinch the ties to get any lift, which dug into the back of my neck. All in all whimpy fabric, no support. Not worth the price so I returned.

Usually wear a size 10/12 but ordered a size larger as bathing suits usually fit tight and wanted to be sure it fit. Although a bit loose in the padded bust, I like the full coverage and it fits beautifully. Padding is not removable as in the product description but is not too thick. Good quality material was worth the price which is more than I normally spend on a bathing suit top but was in a hurry to order before my beach holiday and arrived just in time 4 days later!

What drew me to this top is the fact that the cups have sewn in padding as opposed to the annoying removable ones. I do love the coral color and halter style but the torso was entirely too tight and short while the cup fit well. I’m thin so I usually have the opposite issue. Had to return.

The colour is beautiful (Paprika) and it fits well except for the bra- the cups are built-in and too big. The cups pucker as a result. I removed the tags so cannot return it. Probably would be a good fit for those larger busted. I’m a 36 C

For ref. I am 5’4” 130-135lbs (size 4/6 or small/medium depending on brand) and a 34b sometimes small c, pear shape- smaller on top than bottom. In the pictures posted I am wearing regular shorts, but I would wear a swim skirt (ann cole) with this top and it looks great.

I ordered this top in a size 6 and it fits ok..a *tad* large all around. There is definitely more room in the cups for a larger size. My friend who is a 32d and about my same size stature fit this just fine! I probably could’ve, and maybe should’ve, done with a size 4. It is comfy and I like things not too tight, so i’m keeping it. I will probably end up ordering a size 4 too, just to have if I do water sports. I am normally not a fan of the gathered sides on tops and swimsuits, but I like this one. I needed a top that was more comfortable around my neck than my favorite kenneth cole push up tankini is. Some halter tops pull really bad on my neck, so annoying! This one has softer, wider straps so I don’t have that issue as much! I still think I like the way my kenneth cole tankini looks better without the gathered sides, but this la blanca one is so much more comfy. I think both short and tall people will appreciate this tankini because you can move the fabric up or down to suit your torso length. The front (not back) of the swimsuit is DOUBLE LINED fabric. Yay! I love double lined fabric on the front, it conceals more! The cups are molded cups, there is no removable padding to lose in the washer. I love that! There is no push up in this, just a standard (thick enough to not show nips) molded cup. The fabric is soft to the touch and not too heavy, but not too light. I already have a la blanca string bikini top (looks similar to the top of this tankini) I love in a size 6. They last a long time! I can see why this tankini is so popular. I think this would be flattering on many different shapes and sizes. Too bad they don’t offer bra size cups, it would make sizing easier. I will probably order more colors! I don’t reccommend you put this in the dryer (I always put la blanca in the washer on gentle) but I did it a few times…oops. It came out fine!
