Birds need all the vitamins they can get; especially if they eat a lot of seeds like mine. My Conure loves this and will eat the powder raw as I am trying to mix it with her water. She will then also drink the water with the powder in it. It dissolves easily. It does turn the water yellow and she wouldnโt touch it when it was in a white water bowl so we started putting it in a green colored water bowl and she can tell it is yellow and drinks it fine. Great product to give your birds vitamins they need.

We adopted a yellow crowned Amazon that was in terrible condition. We took her to the vet and she recommended these vitamins. We just sprinkle it on her food. After a month of using the vitamins and getting her on a proper diet she is now happy and healthy. Her feathers are gaining colors and growing in and she has really changed a lot having the vitamins that she was previously lacking.

I’m not sure how effective this are overall, but the bird seems to be eating it and it is extremely easy to sprinkle onto his dry food. The powder comes with a little scoop with the option to add two scoops to water or one scoop for food.

Purchased this brand because it has an excellent reputation. Needed it to support my budgie while s/he (?) was being switched from millet to Roudybush pellets.
Makes water yellow. I added green paper under clear water dish as suggested by a reviewer, but what got my budgie willing to drink was what I call the flock trick. I made a fake budgie (my finger) stick his beak (fingertip) into the water, and my budgie then hopped over and drank. on the second day, the fake budgie was no longer needed.

Avian veterinary recommend it. He says you have to use it under 6 months after opening though because it becomes ineffective after a while once opened.

Taste great! And the birds love it too when mixed in properly with food. Provides a bunch of essential vitamins and nutrients for raising birds in captivity. Did I mention it tastes great?

This vitamin mix is one of the very few that I could find readily available that contains iodine, which is of course, very important for parakeets. Mini vitamin mixes do not include iodine, and therefore are incomplete for parakeets. This dissolves well in water, and also when sprinkled on very moist fruits and vegetables and allowed to sit a few minutes.

Our African gray parrot has been acting sluggish and practically stopped talking. The bird is very fussy with what it will, and will not eat so I donโt think it was getting a proper diet. We purchased these vitamins that add to the water and within two weeks, the bird not only looked much better, but was acting, like itโs old self with much more energy and it started talking a lot once again.

My parrot’s vet recommended this to me for my baby’s vitamin A deficiency. It’s easy to use, she eats her food as normal with the powder mixed in. I’ve noticed significant progress in her symptoms since she began taking the supplements.

This is a great product. My vet recommended it. I have noticed my birds have great plummage and super bright colours. Wouldn’t use anything else.
