These are salon-quality hair products, by a trusted high-end manufacturer, and the price reflects that. The shampoo and conditioner both smell great, and they work well. The shampoo lathers well, and the conditioner goes on smoothly and smells lovely. However, for me, some of the ingredients irritate my scalp. There are certain ingredients that I try to avoid in hair products, and some are in this set, unfortunately. If you don’t have a particularly sensitive scalp, then you should be fine with this set. The shampoo is cleansing and works well.

The star of the set, for me, is the serum, which I can use for the dry part of my hair without too much scalp involvement. It goes on smoothly, rinses out easily, and leaves my hair feeling healthy, conditioned and moisturized. I’m giving these products a 4-star review, because if I didn’t have a super-sensitive scalp, I know I’d be very happy to use this set. For now, I’m sticking with just the serum.

I’ve been using these products for a few weeks, and so far, so good. The shampoo doesn’t lather a bunch, but a little goes a long way. The shampoo combined with the conditioner does make my hair soft and manageable. The scent is light and not overpowering at all. Good product!

I was wanting to buy the L’ANZA Silk Serum. When I looked it up, I saw this gift set and decided to give it a try. The shampoo smells nice when you first open the bottle. However, within moments of pouring a bit in your hand, an “after scent” of rotten fruit appears. It doesn’t seem to linger after rinsing, but that alone is enough for me to not want to purchase the shampoo again. In addition, the shampoo lathers a TON, which isn’t actually a good sign(for healthy ingredients) in shampoos.
The conditioner is fine, but nothing special.
I love the serum, but will be purchasing it as a stand-alone item in the future.

A good shampoo and conditioner set the shampoo. Smells amazing and does a really nice job cleaning my hair leaving it smelling so good. The conditioner has a thicker consistency and goes along way.

My favorite part of the set…. THE SILK SERUM! this stuff is amazing, it leaves my hair, feeling so soft and silky smooth without leaving it looking or feeling greasy it smells amazing
