Fall in love with cooking, don’t hesitate to save up for and purchase Le Creuset cookware! I cannot overstate how much these dutch ovens have given me joy in the kitchen, and brought delicious food from fridge to stove top to oven, right to the table for my family. While we have a large family under the roof, we decided to start with the 9 quart. Wow. Even heating, their light weight for the size of pot, light interior to watch the fond develop, easy clean up, large handles and tight fitting lids are just some of the great qualities that I won’t live without! The color is AMAZING. Pick the color that speaks to your soul, and never go back to flimsy, boring pots, my friends! After seeing the quality of the pricey 9 qt, I quickly ordered the 7 qt, 5 qt and 3.5 braiser, rice pot, bread oven and skillet and griddle pans. I always danced in my kitchen, but now it’s also because of my cookware.
Suggestion: Le Creuset, my dears, please make the Wok, 15.5 Goose Pot and 5 qt braiser in artichaut? Please?! 🥰

This is the same size as our old pot, and although it’s weighty, it feels a bit lighter than the old one. The handles are wider so it affords a better grip, which is good. It’s working well and cooks evenly.

I’ve been coveting this for YEARS. I finally bought one but used the Amazon Warehouse option, which was over $100 cheaper. I was worried about the quality, but it was a totally brand new open box item and 100% worth the purchase! The first thing I made was a family-recipe soup, and everything cooked so perfectly, much better than using my stainless steel stockpot. And the color, omg look at that gorgeous Caribbean turquoise! Believe the hype, this is worth it (esp if you can score a warehouse deal).
