I got this primarily so I could connect 2 monitors to my laptop, after a few tries with other products that didn’t work for various reasons. This one is exactly what I needed. I had no issues plugging the monitors in, and they worked right away. Since it has 2 HDMI built in, I can actually connect 3 monitors (including one plugged into the laptop HDMI port), or 4 if I use the laptop monitor as well. The additional USB ports are a huge bonus, because I never have to worry about not having enough ports now. Plus it has the USB-C, so you are not losing the USB-C port by plugging this in.
I do wish the cord was a bit longer, because I sometimes stash the laptop under the monitor and use a separate keyboard, but if I turn the laptop around, I can still easily access the ports. This will be great if I need to travel with a laptop and monitor as well. All in all, a very useful device.

I have a desktop monitor at home that I use with my laptop via its HDMI port. Recently a family member gave me a used monitor. I wanted to be able to use both monitors with my laptop but needed a docking station to do so. With this docking station I was able to accomplish that. Setting it up was fairly straightforward, but the unit didn’t come with any instructions. I was able to refer to the listing when I connected the USB-C power pass-through. I would have liked to have gotten a power supply with the docking station, but I understand that would have increased the price. I’m happy with what I got at that price point, so the lack of power supply isn’t a deal breaker.

🎁 El producto se presenta en una caja pequeña y fina de cartón, ajustada al producto. Este viene encajado en un blister de plástico. No contiene ningún folleto ni ningún manual de instrucciones. Me ha sorprendido que trae unas pegatinas con escudos de fútbol y algunas onomatopeyas. (No pongo foto de ello para no publicitar otras marcas, que infringe las normas de Amazon)
🔧 El conector principal es un USB tipo C, que para mí es muy cómodo, ya que generalmente es un USB perdido en los ordenadores porque nadie conecta nada. El HUB está provisto de 3 USB 3.0 y un USB tipo C, por lo que el que le quitas al ordenador, lo vuelves a recuperar.
🥽 A simple vista se observa que es de buena calidad. El conector USB C viene protegido con una boquilla de plástico para que no le entre polvo y no se dañe en el transporte. Para lo pequeño que es, pesa un poco, y es de un material más fuerte y robusto que un simple plástico.
🧵 NOTA: La velocidad de escritura en discos duros y Pen Drive es bastante buena y regular. No se trata de un falso USB 3.0 de color azul que luego en copia y escritura no responde como se espera de el.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per il mio nuovo MacBook Pro che presenta solo porte usb-c. Ottimo adattatore, leggero, comodo e di buona fattura. La scocca in metallo lo rende ancora più resistente ad urti e cadute. Funzionano molto bene a livello di velocità e qualità sia le porte usb che la porta hdmi, per me indispensabile per la connessione ad altri monitor. Nessun tipo di “interferenza” o malfunzionamento con Apple. Spedizione impeccabile come sempre. Lo consiglio!
