So i first started off with a moleskin, and i sketched and took notes in it every day. They don’t have as cute of colors, their pages are thinner, they’re more expensive, i could go on.
I’m in architecture and i use this every single day. I wanted one that could serve as both a note taking and sketchbook, with as smooth of a page as moleskins because nothing compared to that when i would write. I came across this and i am never going back. The pages are just as smooth if not smoother, moleskin is 70g and this is 80 so it’s slightly thicker. Pages are NUMBERED which serves us well, there are two bookmarks and a folder in the back. This is my second one, you can see in the pictures that you can see the words through the other side of the page but it doesn’t ever bleed through. I actually like the transparency, i couldn’t tell you why. I hate writing on thick sketch pages, if you can’t handle the slight transparency I’d go for the 120g version of this!!
For reference i use sharpie fine pens (like the ones i have in the pictures) for the most part, as well as paper mate inkjoy sometimes. Zebra Mildliner for highlighting.
I LOVE the fact that it’s dotted. I will never go back, i am the kind of person that cannot write straight for the life of me. The dots really help not only my writing but my sketches also come out straighter because i have something to follow. I didn’t really care about the color but for those of you that do, it’s not red red, it’s more towards toe orange family, but it’s not orange at all, it’s almost like a warm bright red. I don’t mind it, i didn’t care about the color when i bought it, but it is very bright if you care about that.
Absolutely in love with it, get it if you’re thinking about it!

Das ‘rote’ Buch gehört ab sofort zur Arbeit, die kleinen schwarzen sind meine unauffälligen privaten Notizblöcke.
Warum mag ich sie so?
Minimalistisch und praktisch. D.h Seitenzahlen sind drin. So kann man schnell ein Inhaltsverzeichnis aufbauen. Dotted hilft beim Schreiben und Zeichnen, ohne allzu sehr einzuschränken. Sehr sehr haltbar. Machen wirklich jeden Transport im Rucksack (Fahrrad, Motorrad) mit. Schönes Schreibgefühl auf den Seiten.
