Slim and compact but sturdy, both of which also help it stay quiet. Much, much better than the cheap, unbranded one I had to buy last time. Love the fact that the cable isn’t integrated too, so I don’t have to worry about the whole thing being junk if the cable dies. The listing says refurbished but I either got a brand new one or they did such a great job with the refurb that I couldn’t tell. The software suite is a nice plus too since the version of Windows on my laptop didn’t come with a native DVD player.

I bought this to use with my Macbook. It says refurbished but it looks like new. It’s sturdy and compact. So far I’ve used it to read some data and burn a couple of audio cds. You just plug it in and put in your disc and that’s it – no additional software necessary. If you’re looking for an optical drive, this is it. Great product for a great price.

Works just as it should. I plugged it in, it played my audio CD. Nothing complex: plug and play.
I only wanted it to play audio CDs so I did not test any other features. The item is well-packaged and looks new. It arrived 2 days earlier than initially scheduled. It’s slim. It’s quiet as it plays. The cord is about 20 inches long, this gives me enough room to position it the way I like. A great addition to my laptop, I now can play CDs and DVDs whenever I like!

Most laptops don’t come with one built in anymore. This is an easy solution! Simple USB plug in Works Great!!! I looked all at a lot of different ones and reviews and so happy I chose this one for most that it stated it was quiet , ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! We played a game and also watched a DVD movie we just plugged and played on a laptop computer
