I think the shoes are comfortable enough and look great. I ordered size 6W. They don’t feel wide at all.

These had me worried because I usually order a wide-wide fit. My feet are extra particular because the toes are wide, but not the heels. This is a brand I never tried, but I really loved the look of these boots. So after eyeing them for 2 months, I took the plunge. I got the taupe, which is a color that goes with everything. Now I may get a 2nd color as these are just so classy, and they fit like a shoemaker fitted these. I LOVE THEM!!! My usual footwear is roomy so my feet don’t hate me by the end of the day. They do not like my thick socks, so I will get some more that are lighter for the summer. I am testing these boots with my only pair of thin cotton socks. I think that is why these feel so good.

Best of all, they look so good while being so comfortable. These are versatile, too, so you can dress up or down. Since I don’t go to fancy places, these will take me anywhere I want to go.

I only wish these were real leather. I hope these last. I had better order another pair!!!

These were pretty comfortable and stylish. The soles made me feel like I was walking on air.

UPDATE/EDIT: while I’ve not had reason to wear these as much as anticipated due to a pandemic and all, I’ve still worn them plenty over the last several years. They still look like new. I’ll admit, I’ve mostly worn them to the office, traveling on airplanes, out to restaurants and bars and parties, church, and not worn them much outside beyond maybe some outdoor malls. But I am still very happy with them. I am toying with buying them in a second color – as soon as I clean out some of the shoes I never wear. I do wear these, in fall/winter I probably wear them about 2-3 times per week.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I loved the look of these boots and was in the market to replace a pair that I had worn out completely. I have some minor foot issues and can no longer wear anything with much of a heel, so I was excited to see these had such a low heel while still looking nice enough to wear with dressy jeans and pants to go out, or even wear to work. I usually wear a 7.5 but sometimes size up to an 8 for things that look like the toes might be cramped – which is what I did with these.
When they first arrived, I was so disappointed! I tried to put them on and they were so stiff and small I could barely cram my foot into them. I planned to return them. Today I went to pack them up for shipping back and thought I’d write a review while I still had them here to refer to. I tried them on again and felt sad because they were so cute and yet so uncomfortable. Inspecting them more closely, I realized there was a stiff cardboard insert in each one that seemed attached to the shoe. That seemed really weird, so I dug around until I cold get it out. It was so tightly inserted and closely aligned to the shoe that it actually seemed like it was glued to the shoe, but once I exerted a lot of effort, I got it out and there was no glue at all. I tried on the shoes again, and now they fit! Still a little stiffer and a tad tighter than I would prefer, but so much better that I am keeping them.
Other details:
The bottom sole is nice and grippy and fairly flexible
The faux leather upper looks a little too shiny and uniform to mimic real leather, but there was definitely some effort made to make it look pretty good … just not as good as you might want
The little zipper is nice – though I can get the shoes off without using it
The memory foam insole is not as cushy as I expected, though it is okay
The shoes came well-protected with tissue wrapped around the buckles, foam inserts to prevent them getting flattened, the previously mentioned cardboard inserts, all wrapped in tissue in a standard shoe box

I have not done more than walk around the house in them so far – so if anything changes when I wear them out and about, I will come back and edit.

I have alway had to wear running shoes cause I can not find nice looking low heel dresses shoes that are WIDE, until NOW YES 🙌 . These shoes are soooo comfortable and padded inside but even my foot that I broke 3 toes on and wider is comfortable!!! So you gals out there who is wide feet and having a hard time like me I ordered 1 size up from my shoe. So I normally take a 9 in running shoe I ordered a 10 . I truly do believe you will not be disappointed. I love mine , and they do look pretty nice if I do say so myself lol . So come on out of running shoes to dress-up it’s a good feeling I think 🤗

I really like these ankle boots. They are super versatile and cute and I get a lot of compliments when I wear them. They are well made and comfortable as well.

So cumfy and well made. Felt like I had always had them from first try on. Highly recommend.
