Purchased this mouthwash for my wife. Her dentist highly recommended using mouthwash twice a day due to her dental issues. She tried the regular Listerine Total Care, but did not care for the ‘burn’ from the alcohol content. She tried the Listerine Total Alcohol Free and likes it much better.

I like some other reviewers were under the impression this was a larger bottle since it’s sold at that price. My bad, I should have read closer but it’s misleading to say the least.
I used to use the alcohol version of this but found the flavor a bit strong so I gave this a try. 3 days into using it 1-2x daily and my cheeks/gums peeled (sloughing) this morning and now hours later my tongue feels like I burnt it on a hot drink. Not pleasant or comforting.
I will not be using this waste of money because it quite literally is eating my mouth. No thanks.
I’ll stick to pushing through the mild discomfort of the alcohol version.

The taste is more palatable, there is little (if any) stinging/burning sensations, and your mouth will feel better in your dental hygiene routine. Take note that you should not eat any food, nor drink any beverage until 30 minutes after using this mouthwash, as precautioned by Listerine on the label. I highly recommend this for people who need alcohol-free products, or have sensitive palettes, or/and are looking to improve their oral hygiene.

I dont wanna return this because we are out of mouthwash and my boyfriend already opened it before i could see it. So I’m glad I was able to get this delivered so quickly so I didn’t have to make a special trip to buy it. That being said this is a SMALL MINI BOTTLE that is being sold for the price of a large normal bottle. Huge ripoff im very upset. I will definitely be reading the listing more carefully from now on.
