I upgraded my keyboard to the Logitech MX Keys 3 months ago and I haven’t looked back. Here’s why this wireless keyboard deserves the high praise:
Pros:
Low Profile Design: The low-profile keys provide a sleek and comfortable typing experience. The keys feel responsive without being too clicky.
Wireless: The wireless connectivity is reliable and stable, and the battery life is excellent (this keyboard charges from a usb-c to regular usb charger for those wondering). This keyboard can connect to 3 devices at once using the device selector keys which is helpful when working from multiple work spaces.
Light-weight and high quality: The keyboard is extremely light and thin while also feeling very sturdy, the quality is simply the best on the market.
Cons:
I honestly struggled to find any significant drawbacks. However, if I had to nitpick:
Price Point: While the quality justifies the cost, it might be a bit steep for budget-conscious buyers.
Backlighting: I personally don’t mind the lack of backlighting control on this keyboard some people have complained that the auto dimming feature not being able to be turned off is distracting.

Beautiful, great feel, compact, wonderful if you are in tech/media, might not like it for coding as keys are more for a media set up or simple office typing. Works great with Windows, and can pair it with 2 other devices. I have it paired with a Samsung TV, and with my Windows laptop, and my iPad. One button to switch between them. Excellent for working remotely via your smart TV and sharing screen from your laptop, can work from a lapdesk due to the small size but have full functionality for all MS Office applications plus media applications like Adobe Photoshop etc.
A beautiful, minimalist, modern look. Keyboard is backlit too.

The Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard has completely elevated my typing experience. From the moment I started using it, I was impressed by its sleek design and premium build quality.
Typing on this keyboard is an absolute pleasure. The keys are responsive, providing just the right amount of tactile feedback without being too noisy. The low-profile keys are comfortable to type on for extended periods, reducing strain on my wrists.
Connectivity is seamless thanks to the wireless capabilities of the keyboard. I can easily switch between devices with the press of a button, whether it’s my laptop, desktop, or tablet, enhancing my productivity.
One of the standout features of the MX Keys S is its backlighting. The adjustable backlighting adapts to any lighting environment, making it easy to work late into the night or in dimly lit rooms without straining my eyes.
Additionally, the built-in rechargeable battery provides long-lasting power, and the USB-C charging port ensures fast and convenient charging when needed. Plus, the keyboard’s slim profile and minimalist design add a touch of elegance to my workspace.
Overall, the Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard is a premium keyboard that delivers exceptional performance, comfort, and versatility. Whether you’re typing documents, coding, or gaming, this keyboard is sure to impress. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their typing experience!

The Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard has been a cornerstone of my desktop setup, compelling me to purchase it not once, but twice. Its design and functionality speak volumes about the thoughtfulness put into this product, making it well worth the investment.
Starting with the typing experience, it’s exceptional. The low-profile, spherically-dished keys are shaped perfectly for the fingertips, offering a fast, fluid, and precise typing experience that’s also quiet. This feature is particularly appreciated in an environment where noise can be a distraction.
The Smart Actions shortcuts, facilitated by the Logi Options+ app, are a game-changer, automating repetitive tasks with a single keystroke. It’s features like these that elevate the MX Keys S from a mere keyboard to an efficiency-boosting tool.
The smarter illumination is another highlight, with backlit keys that light up as your hands approach, adjusting brightness according to the ambient light. This thoughtful design not only looks good but also ensures I can work comfortably in any lighting condition.
From a physical standpoint, the keyboardโs solid build and low-profile design contribute to a comfortable typing posture, reducing wrist strain during extended use. Additionally, the multi-device Bluetooth functionality and USB-C rechargeability underscore its versatility and modernity.
Another note is the weight of this keyboard. It is surprisingly heavy, which, in my opinion, is a huge pro. With the rubber grips and the weight, this thing stays right where it is supposed to, whether on a glossy desk or large mousepad.
Although I encountered a hiccup with the first keyboard due to an accidental spill, the replacement process led me to the updated version featuring the Logitech Bolt. While it meant using an extra USB dongle, the seamless performance and typing comfort far outweighed this minor inconvenience.
The MX Keys S isnโt just a tool for typing; it’s a comprehensive control center for your digital workspace. Its ability to pair with the Master 3S mouse and facilitate multi-computer control mimics a KVM setup, adding layers of convenience to my workflow.
The Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard is not just a purchase; it’s an investment in a smoother, more efficient computing experience. Its blend of ergonomic design, advanced technology, and eco-conscious manufacturing make it a top contender for anyone looking to upgrade their keyboard.

Solid build. Keys have a nice touch and are responsive a nd quiet
. Lighting is good but can be a bit much depending on your angle view. The more you are over the keys, the better. One of the best keyboards I’ve owned and the matching mouse is excellent too if you buy it. Get the combo if you can if you are considering the mouse too. Highly recommended.

A couple years ago I wrote a scathing review about the decline of Logitech products quality. I was having problems with the mice, the buttons where acting up, and I needed a mouse (NOW) that worked so I went to the local brick & mortar store and bought the same mouse, which had the same problems. I ended up getting hundred dollar mouse made for CAD professionals. Since then I got a Logitech mechanical keyboard, with the cherry keys, great product and I love it. I’ve also purchased a couple Logitech mice lately and had no problems with them. This keyboard is much nicer than what I expected, I love the solid feel of it, it is very heavy for its size. I wanted this one for the ability to switch between three different computers. I have one Windows 10 machine and two Linux ones in a corner of my man cave. I’ve purchased two HDMI KVM switches recently, and both where DOA, not working at all right out of the box, and from different manufacturers. My monitor has three inputs, so all I really needed was a single keyboard and mouse for all three. The Logitech MX mouse is still on the way. The set up was a bit problematic. The Windows machine set up very easy, but after a restart the keyboard was no longer paired. I had to drag out my old one to log into Windows, not so handy since Windows re-starts itself constantly. Luckily, there was a firmware update for this keyboard that fixed the problem. You can get the update through the Logitech software that can be downloaded from their website. On one Linux machine I am currently running Linux Mint. Mint came with the blueman software preinstalled, I had to make several attempts to get the pairing to stick, partly because I’ve only used blueman a couple of times in the past to pair BT headphones to my old laptop. You must mark the keyboard as trusted to get a connection that lasts. I had a situation where it was connecting and disconnecting constantly until I did that. Works fine now, and it pairs itself after a restart. On the third computer I am running Debian 12, and I have not been able to get the keyboard paired at all. This computer is actually part of my stereo system. It is connected to my amps by way of a DAC, but I can control it from a phone or tablet, or from a web GUI on a different computer. It would be nice if this would work on Debian, but it’s not the end of the world. I almost docked this product a star because the product info is not completely accurate. On the product page it says:”Compatibility: Compatible with Logi Bolt USB Receiver (not included) . Logi Bolt wireless products will not pair with other Logitech USB receivers”. OK, you don’t need the Bolt USB Receiver to use this, I ordered them because it says this. The keyboard works with any Bluetooth receiver, I’m using one made by TP Link and another Knvo. The Bolt receivers are not here yet, they will be along in a couple days with the new MX mouse, even though they where part of the same order as this keyboard. When the Bolt receivers get here I will probably use them, because I had to rob the BT dongles off of my other computers to get this working right away. The limited instructions that came with the keyboard just said to pair it with Bluetooth, it does not even mention the Bolt receiver.

I ordered this because I want to be able to use my ipad as a “laptop” while travelling so I don’t have to lug my laptop around with me, but I didn’t want to get a new keyboard case because I like the case I have and I wanted to be able to adjust how close or far my ipad was to me so I didn’t feel like I was hunched over it. This works perfectly. The keyboard itself feels very sturdy and well made. The base itself is metal and the keys are plastic but seem to be decent quality. It is a little on the heavier side but it’s not unmanageable and while I wish there was some kind of case or sleeve for it, I’ll just use a spare bag to make sure it doesn’t get too dirty or anything in my backpack.
I’m really glad I spent the extra money on this versus getting a cheaper model. I’ve had bluetooth keyboards before that I didn’t love because they were hard to type on or had horrible lag when I was working, and as a writer, that ends up being frustrating and almost useless. This connected with my ipad immediately and if there is any sort of lag, it’s basically unnoticeable. Love that it’s USB-C so I only need one charging cable. The pink colour is nice (not necessary, it would work just as well in any colour, but I think the pink is cute) and I found typing to be as easy and comfortable as typing on my laptop. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and while I haven’t had it long, I’ve had Logitech products before that are pretty long-lasting so I’m hoping this does too!
