My 2003 Toyota Rav4 was occasionally hesitating, almost as though it was going to stop when idling or accelerating. It was similar to a fuel line problem I had in another vehicle years, ago. A friend suggested using this fuel system cleaner before I took it to a repair shop. One bottle stopped the problem and I ordered two six packs to be able to continue using it for a while. So far I’ve used it for seven fill-ups and it’s running perfectly. In fact, it idles more smoothly than it has in a long time. I’m going to reduce the frequency of use to every two or three fill-ups and always keep some of it on hand.

Lucas products are the best, add this to a full tank of 93 octane fuel and you will feel it cleaning and extra power, fuel mileage

As it pertains to the actual product I have no problem with. It contains PEA which is a fantastic Fuel System cleaner and the other solvent is naptha all within a carrier based oil that suppose to help with fuel pump lubrication. I have a GDI engine so I like the idea of a fuel based lubricant for the HP fuel pump.
BEWARE: Amazon has changed the Quantity and kept the price. I bought this item 3 boxes each with 6 bottles (18 total) for $46.10 on March 9, 2016. The listing title at the time was “3 of Lucas Oil 10512-6PK Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner – 16 oz., (Case of 6)” Now not even a month later they are selling only 6 bottles for $46.10…The packaging outside the box says “Mulit-Volume Set Do not Separate” . Its possible that when I bought it someone made a big mistake in the listing and I got lucky, or they are now price gouging, Not the first time this has happened to me.

My hot rod can sit for months at a time and I recently filled it up before parking it and forgot to put Stabil in the tank. Big mistake. After sitting for a couple if months, I tried to start it and it refused to run and anything under 2000 RPM. All of the idle circuits were clogged. Dreading tearing down both carbs, I tried a few ounces of Lucas fuel system cleaner in the tank and bounced it around as best I could to mix it. Fired it up and ran it at about 3,000 RPM for a few minutes, and lo and behold it melted the ethanol clogs. Drove it around for a few miles and it was good as new. This stuff is worth its weight in gold.
