Lucky Brand Women’s Long Sleeve Utility Jacket

This jacket is terrific and it looks just like it does in the pictures. I’m 5’ 1.5” and I ordered an extra small which fits perfectly. The cut is flattering and the jacket is surprisingly well made. Even better the extra small was on sale when I ordered it!

I read a review earlier on another jacket similar to this one and she said “you get what you pay for”. That jacket was half the price of this one and it fit her description. This jacket has the quality of one of my LL Bean utility jackets. The material is soft and of a nice weight for Spring and cool summer nights. I ordered an xl because my maturing waistline is now 39 inches and hips 42. Sleeves a bit long but one turn up is fine for me and is usually what I do with all my jackets. I’m 5’2″ and 160#. The shoulder width is perfect with a tad extra room. I love how the back gathers making me look like I have a waistline. This jacket is really nice. My only complaint was that the color didn’t match what was displayed on the model. I realize color changes on different monitors but still. This jacket is more of an olive green and not the dark olive green I was expecting. But other than that, I love this jacket!

These vintage utility jackets are hard to find. I must say I was completely amazed at the quality and fit of this jacket. It is one of the nicest fit jackets I have bought in years, usually they are tight at the bust or waist but this jacket is really made well and is very becoming. It has a drawstring inside at the waist so you can loosen according to your preference. I bought xl and I am 5’3″ and weigh 164 lbs.

Fits as expected. Nice light weight casual jacket.

Note: There are actually 4 pockets. 2 generous ones on front; 2 angled just below the big ones. 🙂
You could miss them if you didn’t have to iron your coat when you took it out of the package. It
was, as to be expected, wrinkled.

This is a very well fabricated and designed jacket. (I wouldn’t exactly call it a ‘coat’.) It should
last for years and years of wear and is just the kind of thing you want for those in-between
Seasons of Spring and Autumn when you don’t want to wear anything too heavy. The weight of
this jacket feels great. It is heavily placketed, with good drawstrings inside for those who like
their wear more tightly fit. With short arms and legs – think Dachshund – I just have to fold
over the sleeves by one cut and voila! Perfect fit. The colour, at least on the one I received,
is about as close to a dark army green. I think it goes well with just about any casual sportwear
you own. This is about the softest cotton I’ve ever worn. Really nice touch.

The delivery was ahead of schedule and right to my own apt. door. Those thieves who pirate
Amazon packages before you even know that they have arrived is the bane of our existence.
So, to see that the delivery Driver followed exact intructions is something to be thankful for.
And I am! 🙂

Yes, if this ‘coat’ came in different colours, I’d buy another one in a different colour. Maybe
a navy blue or a claret red.

LUCKY BRAND – sadly – is no more as it just delcared bankruptcy. That is really unfortunate
because they design and manufacture quality, affordable clothing for real people, like you and
me. ;{

I love this jacket! Haven’t worn it yet because it’s July in TX, but it’s cute and feels like good quality. Based on another review, I sized way up to an XL and it’s perfect! 5’2 155lbs.
