It’s all packed pretty tightly and for the $ seems pretty well made for occasional use , hopefully I never need any of it but should I – it will be ready to go
Breanna Dobbins –
I’ve kept this in my car to have for emergencies and I’ve used it a few times already. It’s been great. Good quality of the products in it and I feel safer having this emergency kit in my car!

I received this survival kit today in the mail and it seems to be packaged very well and I did go through it though some of the stuff is cheaply made it is still a good value for the price. I got it for a dirty Santa gift and I’m sure people will love it. Would definitely buy it again
Kaylee –
This is a great little kit to have with you. It has almost everything you might need in case of emergency’s, is small and compact, and it easy to use. Its a safety MUST HAVE!

Instructions are not clear on how to close the knife
Tabatha Toering –
Love this it was smaller objects however they fit perfectly for ehat we needed and to have something ready.

Opening this kit felt a bit like doing a magic trick – pulling a seemingly endless number of ribbons and rabbits out of a hat. It’s seriously impressive how much equipment they have crammed in here for less than a Jackson, at least at this time. Not everything is a winner, but that’s totally acceptable in this case.
The bag is decent, it has a number of separate pouches inside, and though I don’t love how the main compartment opens so completely and the side pouches tend toward the smaller size, it gets the job done. It’s a nice size to either complement a full pack, toss in the trunk, or pick up and go, if (heaven forbid) you can’t grab anything better.
The first thing I’d upgrade would be the knife; the included knife is cheap, unnecessarily serrated, and liable to spring open at a gentle touch. It does lock and it’s not the absolute worst knife I’ve ever touched, but please do yourself a favor and pick up a Morakniv. The hatchet / hammer multitool makes a decent hammer and pliers, and while it isn’t great at anything else, it’s better than nothing. Ditto for the credit card multitool, which promises a dozen uses and excels at none. The spork is usable in a pinch, and the shovel is incredibly cheap, but also still better than nothing, as long as weight isn’t a concern.
Rope is always great to have, and I’d recommend adding more, but the amount included is still very helpful in an emergency. The fire starting and first aid equipment are also essential in a number of emergencies. The kit also includes no less than 3 whistles, which is usually two more than necessary, but nice to have.
Overall, while the quality ranges from average to gimmicky, there’s still a load of versatility in here for a tight budget, even if there are several areas worth improving on your own. While a couple tools aren’t worth their weight to haul in a backpack, even the shovel is worth keeping on hand if you’re just tossing this kit in your trunk for a little peace of mind.

I am pleasantly surprised. For a $20 kit the quality is rather good. I was looking for something I could toss in the truck. The little shovel/spade is just the right size. Some fishing items. Not a bad med kit. The hammer/plyers/multi tool is functional.
It’s going in the back of the truck in case of emergency.
