Macally Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard For Tablet And Phone

It would be ironic if I was writing a review, on this keyboard! But I cannot, lol my wife loves how easy it is to use so much that she will not relinquish it to me. Seriously though, the keyboard was shipped in quality packaging, and includes easy start guide, quick keys shortcuts and full instructions. It utilizes blue tooth to connect to your device and connecting was easy. Once connected your device will not display the touch screen key board until you turn this one off just fyi. For the price, this was an easy purchase. Maybe my next review will be done using the keyboard.

Pros: compact but not too small, looks nice, rechargeable, holds iPad at a good angle, can use it on my lap like a laptop, battery life has been good.

Cons: none?

I’ve seen reviews complaining about the battery life not being great, but that’s not been the case for me. I don’t use it for long periods of time but I haven’t charged it in 3-4 weeks and it’s going strong. Can’t speak to how long it would last if you’re using it for a full work or school day.

I did a lot of research and I’m glad I went with this one. It’s SO convenient, and a very affordable alternative to an Apple keyboard.

This keyboard is just as described and works well.

I have a lot of projects that require extensive writing and I needed a keyboard for my iPad (2017 10.5” Pro) because using the on-screen one was not convenient.

It is heavier than many keyboards because it is meant to hold your device. If it were lighter, it would tip over; therefore, I consider the weight a plus. If you need something featherweight, then look elsewhere. Also, a few people’s comments make it sound as though it weighs a ton. It weighs 1.87 pounds. I’m a senior citizen and I don’t have a problem picking it up or moving it from room to room. Maybe those people need to do some strength training. LOL

I frequently use my lap desk while sitting in the living room. The rubber feet on the bottom of the keyboard prevents it from slipping around on the desk.

Some have complained that they can’t put their tablet in the keyboard slot as it isn’t large enough to accommodate their iPad case. That depends on the thickness of the case. Mine fits perfectly.

It pairs with my iPad immediately. I have not tried to pair it with more than one device, but it says you can pair it with up to 3.

I like that the keys are round. The action of the keys is perfect as far I am concerned. The spacing of the keys is comfortable and the touch is firm, but not hard to press.

I chose the Magenta color and love it. This bright color makes it easy to find if I have set it down somewhere and don’t remember where I last used it. Don’t laugh! You will be a senior citizen someday too!

I bought this on July 1, 2023, and so far it is working well. As I have only had it for one month, I can’t attest to its longevity.

All in all, it is a great value. Let’s face it, you spend $40 just going out for breakfast these days, so a keyboard you will use every day is a bargain at $40.

I use this to type out long notes on my Samsung Galaxy fold 6 phone. Phone becomes full screen and shows what I type in my message. Easy to bluetooth. Works so easily. Slot gives me place to mount my phone. Keys are sensitive and reactive, has feel of solid keyboard. Good value for what I paid!!

I don’t feel the strain from typing with this keyboard. All the keys are very easy to press. Easy to pair and works great with my iPad
