MEEZAA 150EQ Reflector Telescope for Beginners Description

If you’ve ever gazed up at the night sky and wondered what secrets it holds, the 150EQ Reflector Telescope from MEEZAA might be just what you need to start your journey into the cosmos. Designed with beginners in mind, this powerful and user-friendly telescope offers everything you need to explore the universe, from the craters of the moon to the distant wonders of deep space.

Large Aperture for Brighter Images

One of the standout features of the 150EQ Reflector Telescope is its 150mm large aperture. With a focal length of 650mm, this telescope captures more light, resulting in brighter and clearer images. This makes it particularly suitable for observing deep space celestial objects. Unlike refracting telescopes, this reflector model boasts a stronger light-gathering capability and eliminates chromatic aberration, providing you with stunningly clear views of the night sky.

High-Quality Optics and Magnification

The telescope comes equipped with fully-coated glass optics, enhancing the performance of its optical system. This ensures that you can observe planets in greater detail. The package includes two replaceable eyepieces (25mm and 10mm) that offer 26X and 65X magnification, respectively. Additionally, a 2X Barlow lens is included to double the power of each eyepiece, allowing you to magnify the moon up to 52X or 130X. A red dot finderscope further simplifies the process of locating celestial objects.

German Equatorial Mount for Precision

The MEEZAA 150EQ Reflector Telescope features a manual German Equatorial mount with two slow-motion cables for smooth and accurate pointing. This mount includes a dial and fine-tuned control cables, making it easy to adjust and secure the telescope in the desired position. The precise positioning and fast-tracking capabilities of this mount ensure that your observations remain stable, allowing you to manually track the moon and planets with ease.

Stable Tripod and Phone Adapter

The telescope is supported by a high-quality, large-diameter adjustable stainless steel tripod. This sturdy tripod ensures that you can locate celestial objects smoothly and accurately. Furthermore, the included phone adapter allows you to attach your mobile phone to the telescope, enabling you to watch, take photos, and record videos of your observations. With a simple touch of your phone’s screen, you can capture special astronomical moments and share them with family and friends in real-time.

Comprehensive Accessories

The 150EQ Reflector Telescope comes with a variety of accessories to enhance your stargazing experience. In addition to the two high-quality eyepieces and 2X Barlow lens, the package includes a red dot finderscope, a moon filter, a color filter, a phone adapter, and an adjustable stainless steel tripod. These accessories provide everything you need for a comprehensive and enjoyable astronomy experience.

This Telescope is an all metal build except for the focuser. I wish it was metal but I’m happy with its performance, just wish it was a little higher quality. The other issue I have is the primary mirror is not marked for collimation purposes. This would be so easy for them to do at the factory. The mount works great and is quite sturdy. Although I wish the tray was metal and not plastic. There is some movement when the mount is locked but it’s not a deal breaker for me. All and all for the price I would recommend this Telescope but some small improvements would’ve made it a 5 star review.

The first thing I will say is that this is a bit more of a complex telescope to put together. It is pretty well built and well organized so you are able to easily know which parts you need when assembling. The instructions are pretty straight forward. The device does take some time to learn to use it. The telescope is pretty heavy so it is not something you can move too easily. You have to really be careful when moving it to avoid the telescope falling over and breaking ta lens. I would say if you are not tech savy this may be harder for your to assemble. It just has a lot of pieces. I had a fun time assembling this for my nephew and he really loves using this for looking into the stars. It gives you a good image but again it takes time to locate what you want to look at. It gives a decent view of the planet but it is not perfect. It takes time to really clear up the image. There are several different focus lens inside but I wish those were better packaged. You are able to get a close or far shot as needed and you can use your phone to take images if needed which is great. The eye view is nice and comfortable on the eyes. The focus is not too sensitive but again it takes time time to learn all the functions and it is not as intuitive as say a binocular. The focus is very strong and gave me a very good view for birds if I have it setup and focused in time. It is pretty easy to move around on the stand. Overall this is a very good device to have if you are a person who is good with assembly so you can get this up and running quickly. It is not exactly something I would give to someone who has a hard time assembly. The telescope is heavy so may take two people to assemble. It is not the easiest thing to setup for anyone but definitely worth it for star gazing.

I’ve been using this since the day I received it. It took me some time to assemble it but once done it is very easy to use. The lens quality is very good, I compared it with the older one my friend has and this one is much better. I like the fact that it comes with a solar filter. I can see very tiny details on the moon and can see the sky much better. It stays stable once you fix it in one place and is easy to use.

I’m very satisfied with this telescope. It’s arrived very well boxed and protected. Assembly was quick and instructions were easy to understand. I put mine together in about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this telescope to anyone beginner, junior or seasoned astronomer. It’s well worth the price

I don’t know much about telescopes, but we wanted one to use as a family that was better than the cheapy ones that everyone is used to.

This is a fairly stout unit, and feels quality. Again, I am no expert, but the viewing/lenses of the is telescope were good to our untrained eyes.

The telescope provides clear and detailed views of the moon. I am very happy with the product and makes it suitable for all ages. It was not difficult to put together and it came with different accessories stay will help you zoom in on the object you are watching. It is also suitable for beginners and it may require some time to learn how to set up and use the equatorial mount effectively. Overall the telescope offers a good value for its price.

    Would definitely recommend it.

This is the nicest telescope I’ve ever owned. The value for the price is great.
It’s packaged really well to protect it during shipping. And it’s fairly simple to assemble.
The instructions are well written and easy to follow — five languages provided.
It’s pretty heavy and takes up some space, so make sure you’ve got room for it.
Assembled it looks like the product pictures, so I took some pics of the packaging and instructions to show something that’s not already shared.
Excited to explore the solar system with it.
