Wands are light weight, and the fishing line like lead gives the toy nice movement. It’s probably not the most durable toy out there, but I like the flexibly of it. My cat bats this toy off tables because she wants to play with it so much.

I have a 15 lb slim and athletic Maine coon who loooooves to play. He’s like a dog and can’t get enough. He especially loves watching the birds and after the unfortunate demise of 4 separate occasions birds that got into the house – which he immediately dispatched – I can tell he yearns for the hunt. I love birds (don’t particularly want him to kill them) and don’t live in an area where I even feel safe letting him outside. So this is perfect. He loves to chew on the feathers after play. He cries every day until he gets to chase the flying feathers or worm around the room, he hears the bell and comes running. I was surprised he even enjoys the wiggle worms that come with it, when I drag it across the floor and the worms do their little wiggle his eyes get all stupid and googly and he goes into Mega Hunt Mode. I let him play with one off the string and he carries it around to chew on. When he catches either one he tries to chew on the wire to take away his “kill”. The wire has held up really well but unfortunately the pole itself is not every stable and quickly snapped from his pulling. I tried to tape it up but it crunches and gets worse and worse. I wish that wasn’t so flimsy. Still a good price, still a great toy for bird loving cats, still glad I bought it.

This comes with 2 rods, 2 lines & quite a few feather attachments and quite a few tail like attachments..
As you can see in the video above, this cat toy keeps my kitty extremely entertained!!! The feathers are cool, but they’re not indestructible. The tail like attachments hold up a little better while being tortured by the cat. My cats favorite are the tail like attachments that were included. But both kinds of attachments (tails & feathers) have nice vibrant colors, and they easily attach onto the line of the rod. The rods extend easily, and the lines are pretty sturdy. My cat has actually chewed on the lines a lot and they’re still intact. You can play with them or even prop them up somewhere if you get tired of playing, like in the video I’ve got it wedged into a drawer of one of my side tables bc my cat is still in his kitten stage and he just has so so much energy, I can’t keep up 😂 and most of the time, when I do that… he will play with it for quite some time before growing tired or losing interest. I don’t regret buying this at all, my cat has already gotten my moneys worth out of it. I highly recommend.

My cats absolutely love playing with these, they are so fun. They look just like the photos. Big variety of attachments, you can even add your own. They extend well and it’s nice to have them short when storing them.

You get two of everything! It’s all strong and sturdy. My cat plays rough and this has stood up to her and it all makes her extremely excited! Best investment in 5 years of purchasing toys!

I bought this toy for my latest litter of foster kittens and they LOVE it, and I love it too!
Pros:
– The feather attachment flies and glides like a real bird, it’s very fun
– Because the pole is built kinda like a fishing rod it bends and then bounces back, which means I can hold it at a consistent height and the kittens make it move on its own
– It has replaceable toy heads so I can throw away any that get dirty, or replace them between litters
– It is retractable, so it’s easy to store! I don’t use this feature as much but it will definitely come in handy.
Cons:
– It comes with clear fishing twine as the string, which is very strong and fun for them, but it means you cannot leave this laying around because they could easily get caught in it and hurt themselves. There is a nylon cord you can change out though!
– My kittens seem to have a strong preference for the feather attachments over the fabric worms, but that’s not a huge deal

Great quality, excellent value – comes with TWO wands which are telescoping for different lengths, and I like that the line used to attach the toys is clear yet sturdy, so my cat doesn’t see that it’s a toy on a line. I know that might sound silly, but I feel it adds to the excitement for her. The rod is flexible, which also adds to the motion of the toy. The toy attachments are excellent quality, and they move in a life-like way. Each attachment also has a small bell on it, engaging my cat even further. The clip to attach each toy is a lobster claw type, making it very easy to switch out the attachments when they inevitably get chewed up because your cat will love it.

I bought these wands for my cats and they are amazing. I love how sturdy the telescoping wands are and they aren’t small, short, or wimpy. They’re amazing!
My cats love the feather toys and I do too. Whoever designed them is a genius. The way the feathers tilt perfectly horizontal in the air while twirling is magical. I’ve caught myself playing with them long after my cats have left the room.
The only complaint I have is more directed at my cat than the toy. Our new rescue cat is obsessed with the feather toy. She wants to play with it nonstop. Luckily for me, it takes very little effort. I can lounge on the couch and barely flick my wrist and she will spend hours chasing the toy. At some point I have to get off the couch and get stuff done. I tried to hide the toy in the cupboard so she fixed that by learning how to open cupboards. (Obsessed.) I now have to install baby locks to ensure the cat doesn’t get the wands while I’m gone. Eventually I’ll have to replace the feather toys because she is so rough on them, but so far the one she’s been chasing/biting nonstop for a month is still in good shape. Bravo on this design guys. You did great!
(Also the little worm toys are cute. My cats just like the feathers best)

Our somewhat lazy cat loves it. Goes crazy chasing and running around carrying her “prey”. I just have to go near the drawer where it is kept and she will awake from a deep sleep and rush over hoping I am getting out her now favorite toy. Well made and great value.
