Do you like torturing people, having it suggested that you’re “blair witching” people you’re meeting with. Then this is the cam for you!
The camera works great until it goes into infinite autofocus, a well-documented issue in Microsoft forums that they refuse to formally recognize as a defect. I’ve historically had good luck with MS hardware, but this one is a hard pass since there is no way to fix the issue.

Been using this for a month now, every week day for 8 hours a day. The picture quality is quite good. The mount that comes built in on it is pretty good. Flexible and adjustable enough to sit atop any monitor. The major con is the auto adjust. It does a good job keeping you in focus but if the lighting is too dim it will constantly try to refocus and blur your image. Also if you obstruct your face in anyway it will unfocus. For video meetings and casual video calls it’s worked great for me. If you are looking for a camera for recording videos, look elsewhere, the auto focus will ruin your capture.

Headline says it all. Autofocus sometimes tends to overwork (going in/out of focus and seeming confused). I’m able to lock that down with software since I’m usually shooting a fixed distance in a conference room. Plays nice with linux – hence the round-up to 5stars!

Highly reliable product. I have two webcams, each installed on different workstations, one in operation now for several years. The microphone and camera system work well for Zoom conferences. The webcam can be used with a headset (of course) if desired. Field of view is effective for one or multiple participants, unlike very wide-field webcams. Setup is simple in Windows 7 and 10.

The autofocus function gets annoying at times but tolerable. It does have a great microphone and also resolution. The only issue is the handle so it could be nicer and have more grip.
