ย Ok hear me out. I’ll probably do sn update review of I can to show the colors but overall this here I don’t know why you guys that are giving bad reviews. So my fish tank is a 10gal. So my hubby initially put it in and he called me and was like this light is not bright. Smh when I got home he had it hooked up correctly but the light was facing upwards and not into the water. But anyway, this light is amazing I love the rainbow lights you get to choose how you want your light. I have glo tetras imagine how they really glow with this light. Easy to move the suction is incredible easy to clean. Overall it’s pretty good. Well order again cause I now have an extra tank 55gal. Wish me good luck.

After unboxing, it was very easy to put into the tank. At first, I put it inside the tank and on the side. I wanted a light since my lids lights went out and you can’t replace without buying a new tank and lid. So I found this. It works perfectly in the tank. But I wanted to see if it would stick/suction to the plastic lid by the old lights. It does perfectly. So happy with this purchase. My fish tank finally has lights back in it. Hopefully this lasts for a long time. The kids love the choice of colors. I got it because I wanted white lights to make it bright. But I have come to enjoy the blue lights to make my glo fish glow. Easy to work and change colors. If you happen to lose the remote, there is a button near the plug in part that allows you to change the color. Nice option.

Has a lot of settings, works well enough but I can’t get the remote control that came with it to work. Other than that I am pleased

Gets hot; doesn’t affect performance though. Would recommend this aquarium light. My daughter loves it

The only positive for me was that the suction cups were very strong under my hood. The remote did not work at all for me. There was no white light in the mix. It was advertised to have a white light among the options, however, the white light mode turns out to be a blue color and not bright. The only way to change the colors without the remote is the button on the electric line. That on/off button was placed almost to the plug and far from the aquarium itself. I found that to be very inconvenient. The fact that it did not have an actual white light was not acceptable to me as I like my tanks to be bright and more natural in color. I had to return this light, which was very disappointing. I really need a bright replacement for a hood light. We live in a very wasteful disposable society, and it is ridiculous that there are no replacement bulbs for anything. You should not have to buy an entire aquarium kit, or a new plastic lighted hood that might fit your tank, when your light burns out. The cheap LED lights that come in the new hoods don’t even begin to stand up to the old school aquarium lights we used to have. So Sad

The colors of the lights are very nice and I enjoy having a remote to change the colors to match the mood. The timer works well too turn the lights off at after a certain amount of time. The value is good. It wasn’t expensive at all. It doesn’t give off any heat and the lights can be moved anywhere in the tank due to the suction cups. The lights are simple to install anywhere in the tank. Lights are adjustable to match the ambiance.

This submersible light is great!! …when it works. Iโve had this light in my aquarium for 4 months and at about month 2, the light started flickering between full brightness (Where I usually have it) and about 50%. When I tried to turn up the brightness again, it didnโt turn up. Still doesnโt. ๐
On random occasion it will go back to full brightness again for a few glorious minutes but then it will go back to its dim state. It stays there most of the time. Iโm not sure if itโs because one string of LEDโs on the inside doesnโt work or what, but when itโs at full brightness it definitely makes my aquarium look more blue, which is actually something I like. I have driftwood in my aquarium that makes the water a little tea-colored so I like to have the blue to compensate for the yellow-brownish tinge. It makes my water look more clear. But even if you had a normal aquarium, the color it puts off for โwhiteโ would still be fantastic. I love all the colors it has, plus all the different modes! And like other reviewers, Iโll mention that you need to point the remote control at the transmitter on the cord for it to work. You canโt just point it at the aquarium and it magically works.
I would give this light 5 stars, but the dimness thing really is a bummer. 3 stars it is.

I needed an LED light for my 57L tank, and this is perfect. The preset colours are substantial. The Moonlight (blue) shade is great, and the ability to adjust the brightness level is great. I only wish the White was a little brighter.

Its garbage stop working after 12h and the Light output is very weak. The white is more bleu find something else
