For music class in my kid’s school, they use the same exact glockenspiel — I took that as a sign of good quality.
The sound is very nice and it’s been few days with zero issues, and it looks like it’s going to survive for a long time.
The sound is crisp and clean and the sticks, although plastic, are thick and have some weight to them.
Highly recommended for beginners and maybe intermediates too.

My son purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. I just took it out of the box, which looks new, and some of the steel bars are tarnished/starting to rust. The one mallet has a crack in it and there was hair inside the case. I will say, it sounds really good. But it looks used and a little beat up and that’s disappointing since it’s supposed to be brand new.

I purchased this for my 9 year old son. We opened the Amazon box to find the instrument box inside. I had to open both sides and push the instrument out. The instrument was stuffed into the manufacturer’s box. I got the instrument out and inspected the outside, so far so good. I opened it up and found a note card and one mallet, yes one mallet. I picked up the only mallet inside and hit the keys. Some sounded stuck, some sounded too loose. Needless to say I am in the process of returning.
