The enclosure arrived packed well and clean with good seams and strong magnets. There were no cracks or splitting from the vent holes and the whole thing seems sturdy and well constructed, the lid has a slight bit of a gap at the tank โ€œfrontโ€ but that is easily fixed with a small shim to keep it sealed more tightly (Iโ€™m using it as a Tarantula enclosure for a juvenile Poecilotheria Regalis, and do not want any surprise escapes) So far it has held up well, the acrylic is very clear and easy to clean, weโ€™ll see how it holds up over time, but it looks like Iโ€™ll be buying another before too long for another growing Tarantula

quality is comparable to tarantula cribs (i own of both brands) but these are cheaper here in canada

deep enough to setup a fossorial or an arboreal enclosure

Absolutely love these cages! They work so well for jumping spiders and they are easy to decorate and make personally. I would definitely recommend this for small spiders ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ The quality is very good and there is enough space for my small spiders to roam around!

Getting into tarantulas, all the videos and books say cheap acrylic works great as a spiderling enclosure, and is like $5. Well, I can say that that is false, at least currently! I’ve scoured everywhere online and, unless you’re talking a teensy itty bitty cube (and even then sometimes!), acrylic has gone up in price. Somewhere I read it was due to covid increasing demand for face shields everywhere — but who knows with all the supply chain issues lately.

In any case, undrilled acrylic boxes not custom-designed for tarantulas were not really any cheaper online than ones built to suit, plus they required me to play with a drill. I did a review comparison on prebuilt enclosures, and most were described as flimsy or DIY building out of panels and rubber bands(?) which caused frustration.

This seemed the best as far as reviews go, so I chanced it and am glad I did. It is a good size, has a decently strong magnetic sliding lid on top, and is completely clear. It does have a logo in the bottom front, which is annoying, but whatever lol. Arboreal spiderlings won’t be in the bottom inch of the enclosure either way.

It arrived undamaged and pre-assembled, no silicone necessary. Holes are tiny and should allow plenty of air flow through the top and two sides without risking a spiderling escape.

It isn’t bug enough for an adult of most kinds, but it is big enough I’ll have to watch out to keep an eye on my baby spider haha.

I will probably go ahead and buy another for my other spiderling because I like this one so much more than my old one.

I bought this for my G. Pulchra tarantula sling and it’s perfect for it! It’s only a little bigger than a quarter right now, so the the holes were small enough that it can’t fit through. It’s very sturdy and the magnetic closure on the lid is strong so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally coming open. G. Pulchras’ are terrestrial species so I’ll probably go for a longer rather than taller one after this but it’s still great for how small it is now. Definitely would be great for an arboreal species since it’s so tall. I wouldn’t recommend smaller slings though as they could possibly escape through the air holes or possibly the small space between the lid and the habitat; if they make it up there. I will definitely be buying more for my other Ts when they’re ready!

Purchased for juvenile Mexican red knee tarantula. Delivery was right on time and enclosure was packaged securely with foam blocks on the ends and plastic wrapping to avoid scratches (mine arrived looking flawless). There is plenty of cross ventilation on the sides as well as additional ventilation in the sliding lid. The magnetic “lock” for the lid is stronger than I would have expected, which is great for peace of mind. This is a really cool enclosure for the price and I’d definitely recommend.

This product is amazing! Itโ€™s water proof on the bottom so you can keep plants. But best it has the perfect size for bold jumping spiders and the lid slides off without disturbing their web cocoons. It is also well ventilated which is very important. I will note that the air holes are big enough for fruit flies to climb out of but great for i5 and up when they are eating worms and larger insects

Great enclosure! My Pinktoe tarantula seems right at home. The top closes securely with a magnet, and it has very good cross ventilation (which a lot of the other enclosures lack). If you want something affordable for a smaller arboreal T (mine is a sub adult), I would say to definitely give it a try!
