The Naturehike Teepee Tent is a versatile 4 season tent that exceeds our requirements. We have a mountain cabin that offers all the comforts one might expect, but we still enjoy camping near-by, in a tent, for the enjoyment the great outdoors brings. We found that two people would be quite comfortable in this tent, with three just workable, but the fourth person, if an adult, made it crowded. Particularly when you include all the gear that may need to be packed in.

Where we camp the winter temp does not get too much below the upper 20 degrees F., so we would not be able to comment on its function in a colder environment. We did use a camp stove, just to test its suitability with this tent, and were pleased with the knowledge the tent was made with flame resistant fabric. The tent fly is a useful addition to this tent’s features, along with a fire resistant stove jack with a rain flap.

Overall, we are pleased with its performance and value. Oh, it was a bit of a problem getting this back into its carrier. Make sure the tent is fully cleaned and dry before putting it into storage.

Withstood cold weather, wind, and rain just fine after being pitched for two days. Zippers are questionable and are not easy to zip. Material is quantity, and included enough stakes and rope to pitch properly (they glow in the dark too FYI). If u run a stove, u can only fit 2 people and packs. Suggestion would be to also buy a 6×10 tarp footprint to put under the sleeping vestibule. Itโ€™s hard also to keep condensation off while sleeping bc the internal sleeping vestibule touches the side of the tent. Footprint might help there to add in Between. All in all I def recommend the tent for the $180s will update if I ever have issues with zippers failing.

It’s a good tent. I camped in a good soaking rain and I was dry and toasty. Not having a floor did mean condensation was an issue. The one thing I didn’t think about when I ordered the tent was it had no windows. I figured out you could velcro the tent closed and peak out through the gap and still be warm and dry. It was very easy to put up because of having just one pole.

So the instructions are… rough, BUT! It’s literally a tent so it’s not rocket science. Figure out what way is inside vs out, stake out losey, put pole in along with mosquito net thing (yes it has a bottom in the net) then stake out low to the ground so the wind don’t rip it off the mtn. The only thing I couldn’t figure out was the bottom flaps at the very bottom, the skirt I guess? Supposed to help with wind but it was so crinkled that it didn’t lay flat but it’ll flow better with use. It’s a thick material, can barely see the sun through it, barely cast shadows while inside, it’s pretty stealth with the color. Very water proof but I also sprayed it with sealant like all my tents. It’s like 9lbs?

Zippers are super weak. One broke within a couple days of use, while the other even after babying it, broke after about two weeks of use. Why make a tent with crappy zippers.. ?? Sadly this tent is not worth it, even though the rest of it is solid. Good material, good design.

I’ve put this thru wind driven rain, high winds, mid 30f nights and it handled it like a champ. The quality of construction is excellent. Love that it comes with the bug netted sleeping quarters, as others you must purchase separately. The netted quarters are cavernous too! Plenty of room for gear inside net, if desired. Zippers work as intended and material is great! Having the pre-cut hole in the stove jack was nice. The stove jack did dis-color from heat, so I just crumble foil around pipe where it exits the tent to aid in the presevation of fabric.. Comes from factory with the guy lines pre-attached – another bonus.
Personally, I’d prefer a Bell Tent to allow for more head room and space, but for what this is, it has my vote..

A lot smaller than expected. Missing a part, other than that seems to be well made. The zipper’s are not smooth at all

Coming from backpacking tents I wanted something we could stand and get ready in for ‘normal’ camping. With the inner included this is a great deal. Doubt we’ll use a stove in it but it’s possible to add. It also JUST fits our Exped double mat so that was important!

Similar to trekking pole tents, I find these quicker to setup and tear down than free standing. Just pay attention to stake it out square, then put in the middle pole and it’s pretty much done. It’s quick.

Taking it out this next weekend. Probably taking it on Ragbrai next year as well.
