While my dogs prefer the taste of this food, I read through the ingredients and saw that there’s chicken meal included. When you search for chicken free dog foods, this product comes up? My one dog has had skin issues and our vet said that, most times, skin issues are due to chicken allergies. If your dog can tolerate chicken, this is an affordable solution but steer clear if you are trying to avoid chicken…..it’s a cheap nasty filler.

We had been feeding a fish and potato from a local producer but it seemed like they changed their recipe. My dog, an Australian Shephard mix, has a lot of food allergies and this causes no problems there, much like what we were feeding. I started buying this because it lists pumpkin which we give him when he seems constipated. I still think they should add a bit more pumpkin to offset the potato. Overall seems like a good feed and we will maintain our subscription unless something changes.

My Toy-Fox Terrier was itching & scratching herself practically to the bone. Her doctor (veterinarian) suggested a grain-free pet food. I though surely it can’t be so simple as that but we made this purchase & voila!

I know allot of dog owners out there are concerned about their pets health and well being. If you’d like to try a great dog food, give this one a try. My older Pitbull loves this particular flavor the best. It’s really helped allot with his belly issues since I went grain free with him. I’m not one of those dog experts or anything, just thought I’d share my experience with this food.
