I guarantee you that your router isn’t performing the way your company promised when the sells pitch was over. Been there done that, we have a rather large home, more than 3,500 square feet and another 1,200 pool and concrete desk area. I don’t care which company we were with and all the bells and whistles plus a multitude of promises, we just never had the coverage or guarantees promised. I finally started doing a bit of my own research and calling or stopping by every electronic store in the city and asking questions and normally got the store sells pitch or BS finger pointing exercise. But, when I started talking with the tech/installer people, one name kept coming up for a powerful solution and extender. Best part of my research was that I didn’t need the most expensive router aka extender/boaster and could purchase one that covered well over my entire house and property and at a price that didn’t require me going into debt for something I truly didn’t need. There’s three or four models to choose from and I selected the one that covers 5,800 square feet and it covers every inch of my property plus some and max bars even at the maximum range. Now for the best part of this, I’m no techy nerd and have had to give up and hire someone to finally do what I couldn’t accomplish when it came to hooking something up. Setting these two extenders up was so simple that I disconnected them and asked the wife to follow the instructions and see if she could do it. Yep, she did it on the first try. Finally we have full WiFi throughout the entire house and across the entire property. If you are considering these extenders, do Not purchase the three extenders just because you “think” you’ll need or absolutely have to have the extra power, because surprisingly you’ll have more than you’ll ever need with two. Additionally, you can always purchase the third one later if you really need to, but doubtfully will have to. Another plus, no more having to give your WiFi password for friends or family when they visit, this device has a temporary password for your company.

The fiber optic installer couldn’t get the app to connect. I couldn’t get the app to connect. There is a troubleshooting guide but it doesn’t work. The signal is strong and our devices could all connect, but if you can’t get the app to do a setup, and you can’t hard wire a setup, you can’t use it. I’m sending this back and getting a mesh system recommended by the installer, which is less money anyway.

This is the second one I have owned. I thought the first one went bad but it turned out to be my Spectrum router. Now I have two. It works fine for me and it covers my whole house fine.

I went from a PATHETIC 132 Mbps download, 9.23 Mbps upload to an AWESOME 386 Mbps download, 10.10 Mbps upload on my old WIFI 5 laptop!!!! I did a wired connection to the satellite and my Xbox Series X and the connection jumped to 609 Mbps from 112 Mbps!!!! Just a huge upgrade from the crappy connection I had been suffering with for years. I am at a loss for words, if your connection sucks and you are paying for 500 Mbps internet but getting 100-150 Mbps like I was then go ahead and make this upgrade!!! You’ll be glad you did.
