I have a 75 gallon and it’s 18 inches wide I found that for pretty much any light you need 2 for good coverage, even a fluval 3.0
I have to say I am impressed only thing that could make it better is a bluetooth control module 😁 or even a IR remote.
I could easily put 3 on this 75 as these lights are only 2.5 inches wide.
Anyways these lights are really pretty awesome and you can specify up to a 2 hour ramp up time for the sunrise/sunset and it shows the brightness percentage of each channel as it’s ramping up or down and its a nice smooth ramp up/down.

I was so worried that I am spending so much for something like this, I was worried it might not get to all my plants. but when I put it on, it was very bright and it made my water look so clear. I am very happy with product and it is well worth your money. and the package that it came in was safe as well. and also I didn’t get any glass broken so I Was lucky. my fish tank is big and light got all the way down.

I have 7 fish tanks now and 4 of them have these lights. The programming ability is VERY cool. I have them all sync’ed (since you input the current time) and so they all act at the same time! On one, I even had to adjust the brightness down about 25% as algae was building up. Algae was nearly gone in a week and still has enough light for the plants. Great lights with the easy to use programmable remote. I don’t have a lot of experience with other brands but did get one of those Hygger ones with the 3 buttons, when my buddy gave me his whole setup. I’ve yet to research or read how to set it (LOL) and just guess about the time I want it to transition. Anyway, all my plants seem to be doing very well with this lighting.
An enhancement request… the wire frame extendy things that reach to either side of your tank are low to the water surface. I would like a set of wire frames that would put them about 6 to 8 inches OVER the tank. Not sure how they can engineer that cost effectively. What I did was pull them out, take it to my bench vise, and just bent them where I wanted… but that changes how they fit to the edge because of the bends.
One drawback, if I’m to nit-pick. We had some bad storms a few days ago and we lost power. When the power even glitches, these things reset their time to midnight (I think it was) but didn’t seem to lose any of the custom settings… But is that even a problem? Maybe future models could have a little backup battery supply for this sort of event. I’ve heard places like California can experience many brown-outs, so I imagine it can become tedious to have to always reset the time. Doesn’t happen often here, so no worries. So if power glitches at night, I guess it’s good to reset to midnight so all your tanks don’t suddenly come to life while you’re sleeping! LOL
Hope that helps. Get them, you won’t be disappointed!

Have the 36″ version of this light on my 36″ 22g rimless. It is very bright, I am currently running it on 40% during the day and it is growing my plants very well. The controller is easy to use and program. I like how it has an adjustable sunset/sunrise feature; I have mine set to the max at 120 minutes and it’s perfect. It’s also nice to be able to adjust the brightness separately for both the blue and white/red lights.
If I can get a couple of years out of it I would consider it well worth the price. Only time will tell, but as for right now this is an amazing light and a great value.
UPDATE 11/2/2023
Light is still working as good as day one. No problems at all. My plants are growing like weeds. If you are not pumping co2, this light is about as strong as you will need at only 50%-60% brightness on the settings (depending on tank depth/dimensions). So if you decide to go co2 you can easily ramp it up. Great light.

I do like this aquarium light. It is bright, compact, and sleek-looking. It has made my plants grow faster and more colorful. Due to the way the directions are written, it can be very difficult to program the timer and light brightness. The directions are translated from another language into English, as they do not make sense and in a way, they are written backwards. Once you fumble through the directions for a few minutes, it should not be difficult to set. It just took a few attempts for me to get the settings right.
Also, the timer needs a battery backup in case of a power outage or if the light otherwise becomes unplugged. The remote loses all of its settings once the light loses power, even for two or three seconds, which means you have to program the light settings again. FOR THIS REASON, KEEP THE DIRECTIONS. DO NOT DISCARD THEM. Most likely you will need them again.

not as easy to setup as some other Nicrew lights, but once setup it works good

Overall a very good product. I have a closed hood so I taped the adjustable holders to the outside of tank. A great work around to tape it to side of tank. My hood ballast burnt out and I don’t want to buy a new tank so this was a perfect fix.

I have three tanks in my home and replace the lighting (2 per tank) with these. the fit well in new and older tanks. great deal for $. good quality light. works great for planted tanks. recommend.

A serious aquarium hobbyist suggested this product to me. My old light burned out and he suggested instead of trying to replace it, I should buy this. I did and I was really happy about it. I can adjust the brightness and change from a pretty azure colour to bright white, and step the degree of brightness to suit the time of day. It seems well built and it arrived pretty quickly. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to scrap the old light and put the LED light in position in the old frame. As a bonus, I’ve been told that it will support growing real plants. We’ve had plastic up till now because the old light wouldn’t support real plant growth. Highly recommend this product and seller.

The timer function is great, as well as the option to go to a blue “moonlight” setting with a low brightness to watch more nocturnal fish snack on food. Not hard to set, just watch the video on this page. The screen has a backlight so I can tell what on earth I’m doing. Also it accidentally went into the tank when it was first being set up. Pulled it out quickly and dried it off, no issues or condensation inside so I definitely believe the label of water resistant is accurate. It ramps up and down really nicely.
Also all my plants are growing strong. Really happy with this light

This affordable light is very bright for the price you’re paying. Definitely +1 for value. The tank I have it on is 16 inches deep for reference. To turn the light off you must hold down the “m” button in the middle for three seconds, unlike a conventional dedicated on/off switch. To add on, the build is quite sturdy, does not feel cheap.
The skyled plus (labeled SP in the attached photo) is a tad bit brighter compared to the classicLED PLUS (labeled CP). Both are more than adequate for growing plants 100%. I like how the skyled plus is dimmable, useful if you find it too bright for the fish or you’re experiencing algae growth due to the intensity. On the other hand, the classicLED plus is just on or off. For this reason I would pick the skyled plus over the latter. To add on, it is also nearly half the width of the classicLED plus, thus taking less room on top. Good for the minimalist look. The unit does get quite hot but nothing to be alarmed or concerned about.
Final rating: 9.5/10
I don’t have any complaints. Perhaps a built-in timer would be nice, but for the price point that’s asking for a lot!

This is not water proof. The silicone they use to seal does not completely cover the wire contacts. Mine corroded away. Both my lights failed one with a lid and the other with out a lid. The one with out the lid was absolutely trashed when I took it apart. It was covered is water and the coating on the PCB was coming off.
The performance to the light is great. It grows plants looks good has a great pre programed controller. When it works it is amazing. It is just not built to last. I have so many tanks so the low price point was tempting but I remember getting nicrew lights of this quality for half the price 4 or 5 years ago.

This light is exactly what I needed! It puts off the perfect amount of light (and the colors look great) and I love the daytime/nighttime mode. The timer is relatively easy to set up if you follow the directions. The only con is if I lose power it resets to factory defaults, meaning the lights turn on in the middle of the night. Such a small problem though because at least it still comes on unlike other lights 🤷🏼♀️ I have two but plan on buying another for my third tank, and have already convinced my mom to get one too. 10/10 would recommend.
