Perfect for 1 plus your stuff or two if you can keep your things in your vehicle or somewhere. Perfect for the price. Has only been used once so far, and not in rain so can’t speak to that at this point.

Easty set up. Good price. Easy to put back into the bag after taking down. I used this to go backpacking for two nights (broke it down and set it up twice). Zippers work well. Tent was not too heavy. All good. Will use it again.

Got this just before my Annual Training with my unit and holds up to rain, strong winds, heat, bugs, and grunts. Comfort is great doesn’t tear when objects are placed or dropped on the ground base. The top cover holds in strong during storms. Easy set up and tear down on movements!!! Weight is nice and light will fit I’m a main pack. Value for it’s cost and quality is usmc approved.

I needed a tent to go camping. I had a 6 person tent from a major brand that had one of the tent pole supports break and it was a very large tent for only a single person. Enter this Night Cat.
Unpacking was super easy. Unwrap all the tent poles and rubber bands. Lay the tent out. Assemble the main poles and form an X. Insert the poles into the fasteners at the bottom. Start securing the lower clasps onto the poles and once at the top, tie the ceiling to the axis of the cross poles. Assemble the rain fly poles and insert into their holders. Secure the rain fly using the clasps. Voila. Done. Easy breezy.
This tent has some really cool features. IF you have a large battery bank on wheels you have a passthrough for a cord. The windows has some really good mesh for keeping the bugs out and letting fresh air in. There is a hook at the ceiling for a lamp or small led light source. Sleeping on the ground with a memory foam cot sized ground pad feels spacious and enough space around to lay down cell phones, wallet, keys and water you have in your pockets. Not much storage space so be mindful of what you want to keep inside. At 5’9″ this is perfect for me. Anyone taller is going to be cozy with the walls. To me it seems like it will fit a standard cot but not an extended cot.
Cons: The rain fly does not come down the front entrance or back window far enough. If it is raining with a sideways wind I can see water ingress through the roof a possibility. At that point a tarp put over the tent and secured to the ground will help immensely and help buffet the wind. That is more weight and space so a luxury for car campers. For solo adventurers it may be a con that puts this out of competition.
In conclusion there is a lot of value in this tent. It may only last a season or two but it works and it is lightweight enough.
Update: Out in the wild this tent showed that it really is a 3 season tent. In Winter when temps drop you will need a 0F sleeping bag or quilt. As well as some insulating wool. It kept the wind off of me during 35 mph gusts. It has a lot of ventilation for a single person tent. I like how simple it is to setup and the included cord helped when securing the tent for the wind. I like the high tub line, it helps keep dirt out. If I had to choose again I would go for a double layer tent. Or drape a lightweight tarp over to help insulate.

Looks great! Easy up and fits back into its bag.
Hoping it’s durable and able to do what I need it to do for the hubby’s bike trip.

only used it 3 nights…but it was good quality. no issues.
excellent sturdy quality for the price!
make sure zippers are tightly closed together so there is no space to let mosquitos in…but i guess this is will all tents.
I recommend this.
It says for one person…but you could snuggly fit 2 people in!
It is very roomy for one person…which is better than any other solo tent I have ever seen.
It rolls up small too!
I only used it in dry weather. I but would get a tarp for it if it rains.

First outing with this tent and a second night cat tent we got dumped on with the scout troop. Rained twice. rained good. . …..twice. They were the only two tents that didn’t have a hole, didn’t leak, didn’t and my kids stuff stayed absolutely dry. In fairness it was the first outing and the odds of it going downhill from here are… probable, but until then….

I bought this because it’s compact(when packaged up) to bring on multi day kayaking camping down rivers. I use a kayak so all my gear has to be compact, durable. We didn’t have any rain so Idk how well it does in that situation yet. It performed very well and seems well built. Very happy with it so far

I like the size of the tent, it rained one evening while I was camping and I was dry and warm inside the tent

Have not used yet but have carried it hiking and like the lightweight and compact.

I bought this tent to start motorcycle camping. It folds down really small and is light weight. It fits me on one side with my sleeping pad and all my gear fits comfortably next to me. I really like the function of the screen doors and how easy it is to set up and take down. The hook in the top middle of the tent was a great touch for me to able to hang my headlamp from it. I have not tested it in heavy rain but it did mist and I did not get wet. Great value for the money.
