Me gusta su estรฉtica, la caja en la que vienen lo hace sentir como un producto premium, son rรกpidos pero silenciosos y estรกn a buen precio. Realmente no tengo ninguna queja, son excelentes ventiladores y los recomiendo ampliamente.

Using these on a Ek 360 elite with a 14700k and they really saved the day, way less noise while still performing similar to the original fans from the cooler

I utilized these fans as case fans in a TrueNAS build featuring a Supermicro motherboard. I opted for these fans due to their high ratings and quiet operation. However, upon installation, I began receiving incessant alerts regarding fan warnings related to IPMI alerts for critically low fan speeds. Initially, I disregarded these alerts, but eventually decided to address the issue. It’s important to note that this was not a fault of the fans themselves, but rather an issue with the Supermicro board and its default thresholds in the IPMI settings, which did not accommodate fans spinning at lower speeds.

After conducting some research, I discovered the appropriate commands to resolve the issue. Specifically, I executed the following command via an SSH session for each Noctua fan I installed (please note I have removed my configuration information such as IP, username, password, and fan name):

    ipmitool -I lanplus -H -U -P sensor thresh “” lower 100 200 300

Following this adjustment, the alerts ceased, the BMC GUI indicated that everything was within the acceptable range, and I was no longer receiving alerts from TrueNAS.

Returning to the product itself, the fans perform admirably, and I would unquestionably purchase them again for future projects.

Installed nicely in a “generic” PC case build, works nicely.

I’ve had 5 of these in my computer for the last 3 years and I’ve had no issues. They all still work great, and the noise level is very quiet. Highly recommend over any other fan in a comparable price range.

Summary: Both of these are great fans that I highly recommend. The Noctua NF-P12 redux is cheaper and quieter then the Corsair ML120, so it is best for most situations. The Corsair ML120 is great when you need a fan that can run both quiet or loud and powerful. It can run 700 rpm faster than the Noctua so it is a good value for a such a powerful fan, but it is slightly louder at the same rpm and a couple of dollars more expensive then the Noctua.

Noise: The both fans are silent up to 1300 rpm. The Corsair ML120 is slightly louder than the Noctua NF-P12 redux at speeds above 1300 rpm. I was really surprised that the Noctua NF-P12 redux beat the Corsair ML120 on noise, as the ML120 uses a magnetic levitation barring, but I guess that Noctuaโ€™s fluid barring is just that good.

AirFlow: The Corsair ML120 can run up to 2400 rpm while the Noctua NF-P12 redux can only reach 1700rpm, so the ML120 is capable of more air flow and higher pressure then the NF-P12 redux, although Corsair ML120 is quite loud at max speed.

Static pressure from spec sheets: Corsair ML120 up to 4.2 mm-H2O, Noctua NF-P12 redux up to 2,83 mm-H2O.

RPM range: ML120 = 400-2400, NF-P12 redux = 450-1700. The main advantage that the Corsair ML120 has over the Noctua is that it can run 700 rpm faster. This is great for a situation where you might need some extra cooling power at the top of a pmw fan curve.

Warranty: ML120 = 5 years, NF-P12 redux = 6 years. Both of these fans have top quality bearings, so they should both last for many years unless you get a defective one.

Accessories: As these are both basic models they do not come with anti-vibration pads or any other accessories other then mounting screws.

Price: At the time of this review a 2 pack of ML120 was 31.41, so a ML120 was $15.71 while a NF-P12 redux was $13.90, so the Noctua is a couple of dollars cheaper, but the ML120 is still a great value for a good quality 2400 rpm fan.

Note on product models: The performance of the ML120 is the same as the ML120 PRO, the PRO model is just a more premium variant that has anti vibration pads, looks better.

Notuca has done it again, producing a great product and this time at an even better price. This fan is very good in several categories with no real downsides.

These are premium high end fans, so it vastly outclasses stock case fans.

Material quality is great, just by touching it and holding it, the whole thing feels much more premium. Right out of the box it feels good.

Noise level is great, but do be sure to set the fan curves in your BIOS, otherwise they will be running with a bit of noise on full RPM, which is overkill. They move so much air as it is, there is little reason to run them so hard and it creates an unneeded noise level. So do set a fan curve, for sure.

Highly versatile! Itโ€™s got great static pressure AND great airflow so you can comfortably use them on radiators or as case fans. Not all fans can say the same in terms of versatility.

They do look alright to the eye, not some fancy RGB, but they are about functionality. Noctua has never been known for being flashy, but I highly recommend their anti-vibration pads for a nice accent as well as mitigating the vibrations for even less noise.

Above all, the price point is what knocks it out of the park for me. There simply is no better fan for this price. Iโ€™m not saying it canโ€™t be outperformed, but anything that would do so would easily cost more than twice as much. Performs like a $20-$30 fan, yet cost nearly half that.

Unless you are able to or willing to, shell out anything for PC performance I donโ€™t see why you wouldnโ€™t use these. For most enthusiast, this is certainly sufficient and effective. Unless you are some mega enthusiast with a 3 grand rig in the tower, this is great.

Great for enthusiast looking for premium cooling without breaking the bank.

    Fan arrived in perfect condition.

Quite pricey for a single fan, but looks great and is quiet enough to go unnoticed. Air flow seems great.

Does not have rubber cushions around the screw holes, in case that matters for you.
