Gary L. Brazzell –
This product arrived as advertised. Taste and ease of blending are correct for a pure protein powder. I appreciate having the option to choose my own sweetener, if any. Thank you for not putting a single-use plastic scoop in the package. We pulled an old 1/3 cup measuring cup, that I never use, out of a drawer, and put it in this package. I prefer to blend this in a personal blender with soy milk, one banana, and crushed ice.

Imperfect in mixing –
but you will probably need to get some chemicals added to get it perfect for your pallet if you need those item….. is my guess. It works for me! and I am grateful for affordable, no strong flavoring, & non/low fat pure protein powder. Thanks!
RWM –
No flavor is an understatement, didn’t mix well, but is drinkable.
DTM –
So thick, and taste bad. Hard to mix and swallow. Dont recommend..
Eat Dirt –
Update: The label states a serving size is approx. 1/3 cup (24g). This is not accurate. 24 grams per my scale is 3 compacted and leveled Tablespoons (I also scooped out the contents one serving at a time and found it to be that 3 tablespoons equaled the number of servings). For reference, 2 tablespoons = 1/8 cup and 4 tablespoons = 1/4 cup. Therefore, 3 tablespoons = 3/8 cup.
For those of you who stated “this tastes horrible”, I have a feeling you followed the label serving size of 1/3 cup and I can completely see where you are coming from. Try it again using the 24 grams/3 tablespoons and you may end up feeling different.
Received exactly as advertised and what I wanted.
It smells like soy. It tastes like soy. It mixes like soy.
Perfect for adding to recipes when you want a little boost of protein without changing the flavor profile of what you are adding it to.
I personally love the “grit” soy adds to shakes. The texture reminds me of the Slimfast powder from the early/mid 80’s, something Ive taken years to duplicate.
Definitely in my “save for later” page for many future purchases.
My only regret? I ordered the small tub.
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews regarding the “flavor” or “grit”. One can only imagine those are coming from individuals who have never had UNFLAVORED soy protein powder before.
Deja View –
I haven’t used it for long, so can’t attest to health benefits. I drink it at lunch time for a protein boost for my aged body (as recommended in AARP – though not specifically this brand). The taste is meh. I’m experimenting. I blended in raspberries once and prefer to eat the raspberries. I added a bit of vanilla extract, and think I’ll continue with that. Though meh, the flavor is not bad. It’s okay without tinkering. It blends decently, is rather thick at 1/3 cup per 8 oz., as recommended. You may need to use a spoon to get the last of it.
Amazon Customer –
I am new to the protein powder world, and aiming to use it to lose weight sustainably. I quickly noticed most of them were packed with sugar and already flavored- so I was relieved to find this one that had no sugar, no flavoring, and minimal calories. I sent the ingredients and nutrition facts to my brother in law before purchasing, as he is a licensed dietitian and personal trainer. He said it looks like the perfect choice for a protein powder and checks all the boxes. He knows his stuff so if he approves, this is the one! I just made my first smoothie with it and I don’t think it affected the flavor at all. A bit of grittiness, but it wasn’t off-putting, and I assume they probably all share that attribute. If you want one to meet your protein goals that isn’t loaded with a bunch of nonsense, this is great (and vegan!)

This protein powder is very versatile and not gritty. I mix it with sugar free juice, super greens, collagen, ice and frozen fruit. Perfect for breakfast!
