I usually buy these on sale or return my old ones for a 50$ rebate on a new pair. they can deform easily but you can bend them back into shape, which is better than breaking. If not preserved in the bag provided or dirt gets into the bag, the lenses will get chipped. I’d invest into a good protection box. the oakley ones are on sale sometimes for ~15$ and that’s a good investment.

EDIT AGAIN: Back to 5 stars! Time to eat some humble pie. I had forgotten I did this review, but I’ve since bought TWO pairs of Square Wires (different lenses) since claiming they were no good. As far as the “they hurt my head” business? Yeahhhh they’re metal, they’ll bend a bit. I can’t speak to this particular retailer, as it looks like some people have had issues, but the Square Wire frames themselves are versatile, great-looking, and if I had to drop down to a single pair of sunglasses, it would be Square Wires with Prizm Black Polarized lenses all the way!
EDIT: Dropping to 2 stars from my initial 5. They’re fine as long as I don’t have to wear them for more than a little while, but they hurt my head after more than a couple hours. I can wear my Flak 2.0’s all day, either on my face or perched on top of my head, and I barely know they’re there. I would send these back if I hadn’t already gone past the return window. Should’ve bought them from a particular retailer in the mall that has a 90-day return policy!! My comment about the lenses stands, but the frames are useless to me, as I just wear my Flaks all the time for comfort. I’ll try to sell them privately.
ORIGINAL: Absolutely love these … I initially bought a pair with the new Prizm lenses, but the tint was ridiculously warm-toned – they looked like it was perpetually late afternoon. I returned them and ordered these, and they’re perfect! Nice, cool gray tint, ridiculously clear.

I tried to buy these glasses or a similar pair several years back on in flight duty free but they had been taken out of the new brochure, so I was pleased to find this pair by chance and have not been disappointed. Only criticism is that for the price they come in a cloth bag and I have had to buy a hard case as well

The glasses are nice and fit well. Very sturdy, and don’t have those crappy spring loaded arms. Packaging was terrible. Mine came in a crushed thin cardboard box. Luckily the glasses were okay and straight.

I have bought this model before and still love it. This item is shipped in an unusually weak box. This box would normally be used in a lager box. It was crushed inside the shipping envelope. So far it does not appear that there is any damage to the sunglasses.

As an Oakley collector I must say that these glasses are ok for the price. I paid just under 90.00 with tax for these, but I wouldn’t spend any more that. Of all my Oakleys, these feel like the most likely to get bent out of shape. So with that being said, the build quality is just OK, but as expected at this price point. The lenses are typical non polarized dark Oakley lenses, so that’s good. Bottom line for me on these would be if you want a pair of Oakleys without breaking the bank and you like styling of these, you won’t be disappointed.

I like Oakley sunglasses for both form and function. These are stylish but not gaudy. Plus the dark lens cuts out the light and is protective against UV light from the sun.
These are typical of Oakley sunglasses, they’re well-built and seem rugged so I can put them on and off without worry about bending or anything like that. The lenses themselves are high-quality.
I give this my strongest recommendation.
