Lentes muy padres y ligeros. A cierta incidencia del sol o la luz se desaparece el color azul cosa que me gusta, esperaba que cambiará de color de las lentes a morado en las orillas, pero creo que es porque no es lo suficientemente curvo para que esto pase. La construcción puede verse sencilla pero son resistentes y algo flexibles, no como los de acetato, y las bisagras al no ser metálicas se pueden volver a ensamblar en caso de que se desprendan. La bolsita donde vienen los lentes para todos los oakley funciona y es la indicada para limpiar los mismos lentes. Hay ciertos colores que los resalta más gracias a la tecnología Prizm, unque no tanto como los Prizm polarizados que si estan en un nivel superior en contraste y colores. En tamaño son muy similares a los wayfarer de RB. Son Made in USA.

I’m not sure why some people posting on here think they got fake Oakley’s. Mine were indeed real. They came in an Oakley box with warranty paper and protective soft case. The plastic is thinner on these pair of Oakley’s than any other I’ve ever had and I’ve owned more than half a dozen of them. It might just be the style though. The quality of the lenses are good. They give off good light and reduce the glare quite well. One quality control issue is that on the left arm coloring stamped over the Oakley emblem is slightly off center. The right arm is spot on though.

In 2012 I got my first pair of Frogskins as a gift from a boyfriend. I didn’t love them immediately… they looked like cheap gas station sunglasses and wayfarers had a child and named it Frogskins. But they were a gift and they were comfortable, so I wore them. That boyfriend and I broke up a year later. It was a long-distance relationship and I found out he had been cheating. It was painful. I got so annoyed with wearing the glasses he gave me that I actually threw them out of my car and stomped on them. They literally would not break. The arms popped off & the lenses got scratched, but they were still fixable and ready to be good as new. It made me mad at the time, I wanted the satisfaction of smashing them into smithereens. But I also couldn’t help but be impressed with their resilience. Time passed and I started dating again. My new boyfriend borrowed my car one day and found them dismembered in the door pocket of my car. He put them back together and casually showed up wearing them. He asked what happened to them and I lied saying that I had accidentally dropped and stepped on them. He seemed proud of himself for fixing my broken glasses. Later, when he wasn’t around, I threw them in the trash to be rid of them once and for all. Finally the one lingering reminder of that failed relationship was gone! Over the course of the next few years I bought several other pairs of high-end glasses. Each pair got broken or lost almost immediately. It was like a curse or something, I could not seem to hang on to a pair of glasses. I found myself missing the low-maintenance functionality of my Frogskins. They called out quietly to me,”You took us for granted.” they whispered like a ghost haunting me on days with blinding glare reflecting off every surface. Eventually I broke down and bought a brand new pair of Polarized Prizm Frogskins.

Here is a list of things I love about these glasses:
1. They do not tweak or become lop-sided!
2. Since there is no metal hinge, the arms simply pop off and back on if they get “accidentally stepped on”.
3. They are so light weight! These are the only glasses that don’t give me a headache from the weight or fatigue from wearing. (unlike the headache of a cheating bf)
4. They don’t become loose over time.
5. Lenses are easy to replace.
6. Polarized + Prizm is the best (as someone who spends tons of time on the water, it’s a game changer)
They have completely won my loyalty and love, unlike that cheating boyfriend, and I have finally separated the glasses from the man who introduced me to them. The end.

They fit great and I get compliments on them all the time!
