I read the reviews and I guess I got lucky that I have a small mouth, because I’m not experiencing the same issues as most where the fit is concerned. It fits snug in my mouth, so it doesn’t fall out while sleeping. I’m able to breathe while using it. Easy-to-use.
It covers all my upper teeth, so it doesn’t feel awkward when using it. It was difficult to get off the tray, so I had to put it in the freezer for a short time. I have a mouth guard that I paid almost $500 for, but I kind of prefer this one because it’s sturdier. I’m a clencher, so it definitely works for my needs.
I also like that it doesn’t taste bad. It has a pleasant taste. It kinda reminds me of the wax lips we used to have in the 70s/80s at Halloween time. IYKYK..lol

Pros
The product was super easy and fast to use. Snaps in at night securely. Price is amazing. Comes with a breathable storage case.
Cons
I am a seriously bad clencher at night and my only complaints about this mouthguard is I wish it covered more teeth in the direction toward my throat. Its a bit smaller then the one from my dentist. I also wish it was a little bit thinner.
But overall for the price, ease of use, and if you are only an average grinder or clencher, I think this will work just fine.

While this didn’t work for us, it may work quite well for other people that want a nighttime dental guard and who don’t have dental insurance. My son found it uncomfortable and said it felt “tight.” We wanted to try this out thinking that if it worked we wouldn’t have to have one done professionally at a dental office where it would cost close to $500.00. But it seems we’ll be going that route and hopefully his dental insurance will cover part of the cost. However, it was very easy to make the night guard and the instructions were very easy to follow. We will get be getting a full refund after we called OralB Customer Service. By the way, their Customer Service was outstanding!!!!

Was hesitant to try but since itโs only a fraction of the price of a custom make piece, so gave it a try. Its really simple mould and easy to get used to. Will be getting another as a spare.

I tried this dental guard and was not happy with it. I read the directions thoroughly and followed it to the “t”. It was pretty straight forward and easy to mold and remove from the green tray. I let it sit for a day to make sure it I didn’t ruin the shape of the mold. The next night, I used it, and it was so uncomfortable. It was very tight and it actually hurt my teeth. I tried molding it again and same result. Just very uncomfortable, and almost worried if I continued to wear it, it’ll change the shape of my bite. Not worth it. I thought I would save hundreds not having to get a custom fit at the dental office, but I guess I have to after all.

I have had a custom mouth guard. Very hard and slowly broke apart within months. Tried many others over the counter. So big and cumbersome that without knowing was pulling them out at night. Not helpful in preventing grinding๐. Had been in the US and happen to find the oral B nighttime guard. So I purchased it. Been in love ever since! They were way cheaper in the states. Hard to even find in Canada! Now with Amazon it is so easy! The guard can be a little tough to release from the tray. After that they are thin and light. My body is not removing them at night. My body had never liked any of the bulky guards! The Oral B gets the job done in preventing grinding. I love them and will be a forever customer! Thanks oral B! Vickiโบ๏ธ

After a visit to the dentist office, my dentist noted that I had been grinding my teeth and suggested I sleep with a mouth guard. She was going to charge me $500 just to make a custom one for me! I politely declined hoping that Iโd find another product within my budget. I found this on Amazon and it did the trick! It was very easy to mold myself with simple instructions. Iโve had this for about a year now and itโs held up pretty well! The fresh minty taste is a bonus but wears off after as while. Still, im very happy overall with this product.

first of all it’s non refundable which really sucks because its complete garbage. I read the reviews about it being small and i thought that sounded perfect because other night guards have been way too big for me. well it was just the right size for me but that also means it’s probably the wrong size for you. that was actually the only good part about it and it snowballed downhill from there at a rapid pace…i followed the instruction exactly step by step and my first go went very badly. first bad sign was the tray that its in cracked in the microwave even though i put it in for the exact right amount of time. next the stupid thing got stuck in that tray and not even where it had cracked in the front it was the ends and the sides that were completely cemented down. it says to “remove gently” but this proved to be an impossible task. i had to pry it off the tray very carefully with a butter knife but i did get it off and i thought it looked good. no cracks or tears so i thought i beat the odds and achieved success. wrong. even though i lined everything up when i bit down for some reason it only fit half my teeth. its like the night guard itself somehow expanded and was too wide. i remembered seeing in the instructions it said to put it back in the tray and microwave it for slightly less time so i didnt panic and i did just that. this time it did not get stuck in the tray and i thought for sure i had it this time. but when i put it in again now it was way too loose it just falls right out unless i am biting down and in the process of trying to just hold it in my mouth i already have indents from my bottom teeth. seeing as my mouth is quite small and as such not the most powerful mouth in the world if this didn’t work for me i truly can’t see it working for any human adult. and tragically i am unable to get a refund so that was just a total waste of money. please save yourselves and learn from my mistakes ๐ฅฒ

I think mine is defective. There’s no material in the front–just a very thin band and when it’s in the my mouth–it sits BEHIND my front teeth. I did everything right as far as I can tell–three times! There just isn’t any material to cover my front teeth. Which makes it a little uncomfortable and it’s actually pushing my front teeth out a bit. I’m afraid it’s going to push them out enough over time to alter my bite and create a “buck teeth” situation. I wore braces for four years to correct bucked teeth and other problems and I don’t want to mess with that as an older adult.
Going to see if they’ll send me a new one and see if it’s any better

I personally found it uncomfortable to wear

Worked out well although a little difficult to get into position and to get the guard out of the fitting channel. Will buy again when needed.
