Bought as a gift for hubby, he loves the many different angle spray options. It’s well made & works in any area of garden or lawn. It also works well with bore water and also low pressure. Would buy again.

It works fine but, as the guy who’s always turning the screw the wrong way, I have a hard time adjusting the throw limits because there are two gizmos and I lose track of whether I’m increasing or decreasing the field of coverage. Sometimes stupid can’t be fixed. All in all it’s a very nice product.

As with some other reviews, this product does lose some water at the base of the sprinkler. I found a thin gasket that fit and cut down on the leakage at the base of the product. With that being said, the sprinkler tends to sink down as the ground around it softens. On the positive side, I love the fact that you can run this sprinkler in a full-circle pattern or a very narrow pattern if needed. It sends out a good amount of water, with little waste as I only sprinkle what I need to. Also, the adjustment at the top of the sprinkler adjusts for a lighter or more dense spray according to my needs. The sprinkler is well-built and does an overall great job. I used other style sprinklers in the past and the more I used the Orbit sprinkler, the better I liked it. I would definitely buy another Orbit gear drive sprinkler again.

First, the Bad news: I’ve used these in the past and they always worked and are fantastic, BUT, unfortunately I received one that had an internal gearing problem in the base so it wouldn’t work correctly. The top sprayed fine and could be changed to any of the settings.
Save the Good news for last:
As I mentioned, I’ve found these sprinklers to be excellent, even though some would choose knockoffs because they’re slightly cheaper and obviously inferior versions/ brands. Please don’t do it! The American Orbit ones are superior and well worth the expense. Unfortunately I didn’t discover that 1 of the 4 didn’t work correctly until AFTER the Amazon return window closed. Oh boy… What now? Call them and they proved why it’s the best to buy from American companies… I called Orbit and they were excellent, just like their products, to help assess the issue. I’ve only had the sprinklers for 1 1/2 months and they immediately provided a warranty code and an immediate replacement!
Conclusion: Don’t hesitate, buy this or another Orbit product. YOU WON’T be disappointed!! Not only do I use these sprinklers because the different settings that give great coverage, but FYI, I’m thrilled with the B-hyve WiFi 4 hose/sprinkler distribution unit. Game changing!
Cheers!

I like this sprinkler – totally self explanatory so it’s very easy to use. But, the one I bought showed two problems, first it leaks a bit, it is dripping steadily whenever turned on. Second, there is not much difference between choices of watering patterns; whether I set at flat or shower, it’s just not much different. Since I like this sprinkler so much I’m going to order two more to see if they indeed all have the same problems, or it’s just this first one I got is somehow defective.
5/19/24 Edit: #1, I ordered a second one from Amazon and it worked about the same – not much differences I can see re watering patterns. However, the second one did leak less. 2, I contacted the seller at Orbit.com. They send me a replacement for the first one that has a steady leak. Kudos for the customer service BUT, the replacement turned out worse – it can’t oscillate at all, also it leaks even more than the first one. I’m disappointed and not sure if I want to let Orbit know about the replacement sprinkler is even worse ….

Not the easiest sprinkler to understand, but once understood performs perfectly.

I easily get 25 feet of coverage in any direction (50 feet overall).
The best thing though is the consistency of coverage over that 25 feet. I watched a review where the reviewer set up cups at various ranges to gauge consistency. His results were excellent. I did the same over 5, 10, 15 and 20 feet and lo and behold, the coverage was almost perfectly consistent.
The head is quite adjustable as well. The only question now is it’s longevity.

Easy to operate, seems to be made with quality parts (but time will tell), the only down side I have is it is a bit hard to get equal water output from the actual sprinkler to the end of the stream it shoots out.. In other words the majority of the water stream shoots out into one stream. There is a knob type thing you can turn which breaks the stream up some, but then it creates such a fine mist of water that if there is even the slightest breeze blowing it carriers the mist away so then water is being wasted.

This sprinkler is easy to set up, adjust, and stick in the ground. It is light weight. Seems strong. Provides good coverage. I’ve used it a couple weeks. It’s good so far.

Good sprinkler with lots of spray options to keep my lawn watered during the summer months. Feels substantial and operates easily. It is plastic so no 5 star rating but tell me where you can get real steel anymore. Much better price point than my other orange colored brand name units so I am happy with the purchase. Hoping that it also stands the test of time but only time will tell that story.

I’ve used this same sprinkler for several years, not sure how many. I have had others of similar design. They are easy to use. This one has several spray modes and a cap on top that can be rotated to provide four different levels of scatter (including none). With good pressure, it can shoot a long way. The limit controls are easy to use to direct the coverage where you want it to go. They may fail eventually; this year we found that none of our old sprinklers of similar type were working, but I had no qualms about getting this type again.

I was having issues with low water pressure. With two impulse sprinklers on the line, one of the sprinklers wouldn’t oscillate. Using two of these sprinklers in the same set up I have no issues. The six patterns are nice and it was fairly easy to set the pattern. However, there doesn’t appear to be a way to set how far the sparklers spray water.
