Clamp is super useful for almost any desk has good spacing, holds very strong. Power cable isn’t incredibly strong about 4-5 feet or so however it can be changed by a longer one since it uses regular C-Type cable. Computer works great with it and I’ve already hooked a controller to this one and response time is optimal.

This compact USB hub (3 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port) installs on the edge of a desk, table, or anything with a ledge. It installed in a minute. I’ve got it in a nice out-of-the-way spot for times when I need to have USB access to my computer or if something needs to be charged.

This is a great little usb hub for your desk. I love that it would clamp to the desk because my last one would always move around and always required two hands if I wanted to plug something in.
I did decide to try and do a small modification to it. The clamp in the back is able to unscrew from the hub so I thought it would be cool to put a magnet in the back and just have it stick to the pole that holds up my monitors and found out it works perfectly. The poles for my monitor stand are from ergatron (qualities worth the extra money btw) and I think they are about 35mm in diameter.
Overall Iโm very happy with it. Iโm glad they made it so I could detach the clamp which allowed me to install a magnet to it.

I have an all-in-one that only has USB-C ports on the back. It is a nuisance to look around back to plug something in. This unit brings the ports to the front and adds USB-A ports. Clamps securely to the computer – mine is flat front and back so it is easy. A tapered design might have issues. The cable is adequately long so it could plug into a desktop and then have the ports on the monitor right in front of you. If you need a way to make ports more accessible this is the unit for you.
