It’s a solid hub. Handles everything. My only wish is that the light showing it has power was a little less than the apparent 40 watt bulb in my light. Seriously this thing is like a night light so if you need absolute dark, like me, you have to place something on it to cover that light. Also, the cord could be a bit longer. We have converters in the power outlets but the cord won’t let you plug into them and have the hub rest on the table as it’s only like 6 inches or so. Still, I have them and use them and they do the job as desired

I COULD NOT GET THE KEYBOARD OR MOUSE TO WORK. I ACCIDENTALLY HAD THE MOUSE TO THE SIDE CLOSEIST TO THE COMPUTER (WHICH IS ON THE FLOOR AT ONE END OF MY DESK) AND NOTICED THAT IT WORKED BETTER. SO I MOVED THE KEYBOARD OVER AND HAD NO PROBLEMS. I DECIDED THE PROBLEM WAS DISTANCE FROM THE COMPUTER, SO I BOUGHT THE HUB, PLACED IT ON THE DESK AND HAVE HAD NO FURTHER PROBLEMS.
IT SEEMS THAT PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS MAY BE THOSE WHOSE KEYBOARD AND MOUSE ARE TO FAR FROM THE COMPUTER. MINE WAS ABOUT 3 FEET BUT WITH THIS CORDED HUB THE RECEIVER IS NOW 12 INCHES AND I HAVE HAD NO FURTHER PROBLEMS IN OVER 6 WEEKS.
MAYBE THIS WILL HELP THOSE WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS. AT LEAST TRY IT BEFORE YOU GET LIKE I WAS, BANGING ON MY KEYBOARD OR MOUSE TRYING TO GET IT TO WAKE UP AND THEN SENDING IT BACK BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT WORK.

Worth the price. I’m mostly using this for extra usb slots for my Chromebook. I stuck it on with double sided tape under my laptop fan stand and it’s quite handy.

Kept disconnecting and reconnecting constantly regardless of where it was plugged into on the PC. This was a problem from day 1 and it persisted. Got angry at it and windmilled the tiny piece of crap into a window sill and it exploded so at least that was fun.
