Bought it to use as a laptop stand. It’s portable and sturdy enough to trust leaving my laptop on it. Comes with a carrying case which will fit everything only if completely disassembled. It’s easy to breakdown though. Just takes a little more time to unscrew the top plate from the telescoping pole. Other than that, it serves its purpose.

If you put any weight on the phone mount at all, it falls right over. Otherwise, the construction of the stand is fine and it folds away nicely once you remove 5 screws and break it down. The concept is great and it does the job but it could be a bit simpler to break down and store.

– Fairly solid construction
– Stable base – supports devices well

– Not the most “portable” – meaning you have to partially disassemble (using a screwdriver) to store in the included carrying case
– Unable to cleanly consolidate the “accessories” when tearing down (Phone arm, and mouse holder)
– Sharp edges on the metal may rub into power cords – this is further encouraged by the fact that your device sits “down” in the tray part – putting upward pressure on power cords and peripherals.
– Mouse holder cannot endure a lot of pressure – will bend under a heavy hand.
I play in a band, and we use a digital mixer. I use this to hold my computer/iPad during my sets so that I can mix remotely. This accomplishes this task at an adequate level. I do not expect this to last for years, but it serves its purpose. The rough-edged metal used on the tray and mousepad has that “I am going to cut or scratch you one day” feel, but I can cope with that for the price.
Bottom line, if you need something to hold a computer or a projector, and do not plan to put this to heavy repeated use, this will work for the price.
